I was able to catch this short a couple of months ago at a Festival, I wasn't even sure I was going to be able to go to. But I'm glad I did. While there were other projects that are well made and good watches, this one easily stood out and is haunting me to this day.

The story revolves around Josh, whose battle with loneliness becomes a distinct presence throughout the film. The cinematography skillfully captures the isolating atmosphere, while the haunting score draws the audience into the character's inner turmoil.

Meden delivers a raw and authentic performance, from the smallest gestures to the weight of the character's silence. Thanks to the actor's skill, combined with the director's keen understanding of the subject, the film masterfully showcases the inner battles faced by those struggling with mental health issues.

The narrative unfolds in a gradual and deliberate manner, allowing the audience to empathize with the character's journey, shedding light on the fear and stigma surrounding seeking assistance.

The film encourages dialogue and understanding, challenging viewers to confront the reality of mental health issues. Although the subject matter can be heavy, the film leaves a lasting impression with its message of resilience and the importance of helping those in need.

Massimo does a really great job in capturing an individual's feelings of loss and isolation in only 5 minutes with no dialogue. While in this kind of framework, you don't get a sense of the character's exact backstory, you get the sense that he feels completely out of place where he is and wants to venture somewhere else.

The cinematography really carries the whole experience with great locales and wonderful use of color, contrasting the "flashbacks" with the present situation. It's very heavy on contrast and shadows which looked very appealing. Additionally, the score had a nice tempo to it that added to the tension of the scenes.

Overall, this is a great silent short. Hope to see more in the future.
