A triumphant comeback. Whimsical, heartfelt, and deeply creative. The bros are back-and it's personal.
Nintendo didn't just revive a series. They resurrected a legacy.
And with "Brothership," they remind us what the Mario & Luigi series always did best: charm, heart, humor, and some of the tightest RPG mechanics in the game.
**Gameplay:
Turn-Based, Timed-Just-Right**
The core gameplay stays true to what fans loved: Action-command turn-based battles that keep you engaged, not just picking commands and zoning out.
Bros Attacks are back and better than ever, bringing combo moves that reward timing, creativity, and rhythm.
Exploration is full of puzzles, platforming, and those quirky environmental mechanics that only the Mario & Luigi series could pull off.
Everything's smoother, tighter, and more dynamic. You don't play this with your brain turned off-you're in it, step for step with the brothers.
**Visual Style:
Bright, Bold, and Full of Soul**
It's a visual feast. The environments are bursting with color and personality. The character animations? Full of charm and expressiveness.
Every new island in the Shipshape Archipelago is distinct-from tropical vibes to mechanical madness, it all screams adventure.
And let's be real: there's something deeply nostalgic about seeing Mario and Luigi's goofy, expressive faces back in action after all these years.
**Story & Tone:
Goofy Meets Heroic-Perfectly Balanced**
You want comedy? You got it.
You want heart? It's there too.
"Brothership" hits that perfect tone where slapstick absurdity lives side-by-side with genuine emotional moments.
The stakes are high, but it's the relationship between Mario and Luigi that keeps everything grounded. They're not just brothers-they're a team. And it shows in every interaction, every mechanic, every moment.
**Soundtrack:
Catchy, Classic, and Full of Life**
If you grew up with Superstar Saga or Bowser's Inside Story, you know what to expect-bangers. Every battle theme, every overworld track, every quirky NPC jingle-it's a party in your ears. And somehow, it all still feels fresh.
**Why This Hits So Hard:
We Needed This**
This series went silent for too long.
The studio behind the originals, AlphaDream, closed down in 2019. For a while, it looked like Mario & Luigi was done.
But now? We've got a new game, a new style, and a new chapter in their saga-and it feels right. This isn't just a comeback-it's a celebration.
Final Word - 10/10
Mario & Luigi: Brothership is everything we missed and more.
It's funny, emotional, fast-paced, and packed with style.
It respects the past while building something new.
Whether you're a longtime fan or brand new to the series, this is one of those games that reminds you why you fell in love with gaming in the first place.
10/10. The Bros are back. And so is the magic.

10/10. The Bros are back. And so is the magic.
It's been a while since we played one of the Mario & Luigi RPG games. Well, this year we finally got it. I've noticed that this game is the sixth installment in the series. I just got the game yesterday and it was indeed perfect to play. The opening and playing field is amazing from a wide shot. The graphics are incredibly beautiful and the cut scenes are great to watch. It's like watching a movie while playing the Nintendo Switch on screen. I'm getting used to knowing how to use the moves and attacks during a battle.
I've played every Super Mario RPG game throughout the years. It's just like playing Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. The music in the game. What can I say? Awesome and amazing to listen to while playing. Nintendo has done it again. Maybe there will be a new game in the future. Who knows? Right now I enjoy playing this game on the Nintendo Switch.
