I stumbled across this film on Apple TV (had to pay to watch it though) as I generally enjoy films about zombies or dystopian films. It really didn't have many things in the way of reviews (kinda why I'm writing this one) - but I liked the trailer and the look/sound of it.
The things I did enjoy: the kills were gory, the acting was, in general, of a high calibre, I really liked a couple of the characters and cared when they died, the story line moved along at a fine pace and was sensible, easy to follow, some of the action sequences were tense and well drawn out, I really liked the ending (won't give it away) and the girl Natzi zombie was cool.
The things I didn't enjoy so much: it's too dark - like turn the lights up people. I don't get why it has to be so dark that sometimes you can't tell what's going on. A couple of the dialogue scenes seemed a bit too obvious or drawn out/explaining things a bit too much rather than showing it.
Not sure why this film isn't a bit more into the mainstream as it seems quite a lot stronger than some other mid-budget horror that is being thrown out at the moment.
I would recommend if this kind of genre is your thing.
