Actually I was not even going for this movie, entering theatre hall to this movie was by mistake,later i realised that it's not mistake. Right from start this movie was a low budget and my expectations was not so high ... The characters are limited sometimes little lag yet movie pulls you in and makes you get intrested. Though budget is low it still feels right in way like logics .karunas ,vimal played really important roles in their careers. Once the movie gets over you are not the exact person as you came in to theatre. The big plus in the film like this ,it manages to keep audiences engaged for a drama centred movie . I highly recommend to go for it.

As an Individual, who spent my time enjoying Pogumidam Vegu Thooramillai, I can honestly say it brought out the best of happiness. Now, shifting gears as a reviewer, let's dive into it.

The main cast, led by Nalinamoorthy (Karunas) and Kumar (Vimal), along with the supporting actors, truly lived up to their roles, making the most of their screen time.

Let's start with Karunas. His performance in this film will make you forget his previous roles and even his current image as a real-life politician. Honestly, it's like watching a completely new actor! In fact, this role should be considered his true debut, not Nandha. From the toll gate scene to that shocking moment where he meets his end by opening the car door-it's sheer brilliance. What a transformation!

Next up is Vimal. While his Chennai slang felt a little forced at times, his expressions and screen presence carried the film. He leads the story, giving life to the character of Kumar, though there's still room for a bit more fine-tuning in portraying this role. Nonetheless, he's on his way to solidifying himself as a noteworthy actor.

Finally, we must give a round of applause to Director Micheal K. Raja. Bringing a unique script to life, where a corpse becomes the center of an engaging story between families and the main characters, is no easy feat. Yet, he did it effortlessly, holding the audience's attention for over two and a half hours. The creativity and execution were nothing short of a wow moment!

Final Thoughts: While reviews, including mine, can provide insights, I always urge audiences to watch a movie for themselves. Everyone has their own taste in entertainment, and what one person loves, another might not. For me, Pogumidam Vegu Thooramillai was definitely worth my time. This is one of the Best movies of 2024.. I'm this movie it conveyed the Way what they have taken as a start.. especially vimal na and his wife scenes Karanus sir Acting super.. That If karrunas sir and Vimal na in same scene we get into biggest confusion whom to watch.. initially karunas character was not explained briefly.. but in the he says about his past in single Line.. Parllely Vimal anna Character was explained in the song .. They don't waste time for unwanted Scenes. Deepaka akka acted in a different character apart from her zone.. Well done akka.. And every character is seems like and make an connect to us.. The special of the movie

Pogumidam Vegu Thooramillai is a Tamil drama film written and directed by Micheal K. Raja. This is his debut movie, but he has done an extremely good job.

The movie is simple and doesn't rely heavily on the plot, but the way it's presented is outstanding. The director has taken a straightforward story and brought it to life beautifully. The film is packed with emotions that will definitely hit you hard.

Actors Vimal and Karunas have absolutely nailed their performances. The dialogues are strong, and some conversations will truly stay with you. All the supporting characters have delivered decent performances, but Vimal and Karunas stand out the most.

The ending - oh boy, what was that! I don't know why, but I had a feeling about how it would end, and it turned out exactly that way. That final scene is incredibly emotional.

Negatives: The movie does feel a bit slow. Though it runs for 2 hours and 10 minutes, it might feel like a 3-hour film due to its pacing.

Verdict: Definitely give it a try - this movie will emotionally hit you.

No spoiler, this movie is a gem and the acting is hearttouching.

There are many messages in this movie which we as a human are forgetting.

* We are becoming selfish and don't care to help others in need.

* If you do good in your life, you'll get a grand send off after your die.

Low budget but better 100's of movie which made 1000 crore. I usually don't rate movies but this is something which deserves to get appreciation.

I lierally cried at the end of the movie.
