Sathya, from humble roots, attends elite school; faces classism but bonds with Parvathi. Overcomes language barriers, excels academically with family's support, showcasing resilience and education's ability to bridge societal divides.

Sathya, an adolescent who belong to the family of four, whose father Gandhi is a Dhobi and the bread winner who earn enough to live his life, his mother Kaaliyammaal is a home maker a lovable wife and caring innocent mother. he has an elder sister Lakshmi, she is very mature and responsible girl who discontinued her studies where she is not interested and helps her father by washing clothes in dhobi kana and supports her mother at home.

Sathya pursuing secondary school level in a government school in his locality and he is very good at his studies. He got few friends in his school and he used to play, roam and hang out with them. Sathya often get into trouble with his school mate and it leads to police station, one day this made Gandhi very angry on him, and he decide to join him in private convent school. Even Gandhi knows that it's out of his hand to pay the admission fee and term fee he takes the risk and he believe that Sathya will learn manners and be obedient if he studies in a convent.

Gandhi borrows money from Vatti kandasami, a money lender who used to lend money for interest often when Gandhi needed. With the money he borrowed and some money from his wife savings Gandhi gets admission for Sathya in a private school. Even though the school has a good infrastructure with a big play ground and a good uniform Sathya didn't like it and he is not at all willing to leave his old school and his friends and teachers. Sathya was convinced by his father's condition that he can decide whether to continue or not, after completing a year in this new school. Sathya meets Gautham and his friend at time of admission, Gautham treats Sathya cheap for his look and his dress and tells him local. This hurts Sathya very deep. Sathya's family looks very beautiful were no one will never give up each other. Even Gandhi has son and daughter up to his shoulder he got much compassion and love to his wife where he believes that love has no age and no limit. Kaaliyammaal is a selfless woman, she never cares about her and all she does is care and concern of her family and family only.

At first day at new school Sathya enters the class room with distinguished mind, he looks all over the class and he knows that is not is kind of h 5/18 he used to be. Prabu welcomes Sathya to sit beside him and he makes as a new friend. Gautham and his friends enters the class room and he sees Sathya sitting in his place. He approaches Sathya and asks him to leave his place and tells him to sit at last, he treats Sathya very worse and Sathya couldn't accept the way he behaves and he leaves the place and goes to the last bench. Gautham thinks that

he has achieved something great and it started taunting on him and continues to do same all the time.

Sathya sees Parvathi, a young charming and beautiful girl in his class room where he met her before in an accident some other day. Sathya get infatuated on her and Parvathi also started looking him. This made Gautham angry because he has a crush on her.

Sathya pursued tamil medium in his old school which made him difficult to study in English medium, he struggles a lot in all the subjects except tamil which made him favourite for his tamil teacher Raavanan.

Sathya was bullied by Gautham and his friends often, which made him more upset. He decides to study well after his father advice and not concentrating in any other issues.
