FirstCopy is an absolute treat - a complete package that hits all the right notes. The gripping storyline keeps you hooked, the background music is spot on, and the overall vibe screams blockbuster. Every second feels worth it, and with just three episodes in, it already leaves a strong impression. The narrative picks up beautifully post-interval, maintaining momentum and interest.
Munawar Faruqui's performance is a pleasant surprise. It's hard to believe this is his debut project - he carries his role with the confidence and finesse of a seasoned actor. Alongside him, Ashi Singh delivers a smooth and convincing performance, making the casting feel just right.

FirstCopy is a complete package gripping storyline, brilliant BGM, and full-on blockbuster energy. This BGM team truly deserves a pat on their back. Totally worth every second.. 3 episodes in and it's already a ride!
What a great watch and worthy of every praise. Congratulations to everyone!
Very original use of the animation and the style itself is very true to its 90s roots. The Edit is also pretty good, and it knows its audience very well. Lives up to the hype created! Definitely one of those shows that should not delay the season two- retention would be in awesome numbers after such a beautiful season one!
Also, a moment and a word for the fantastic debut that Munawar gave us with this. Take a bow!
Congratulations Munawar, Saqib and Farhan Zamma!
You've got a winner on your hands- looking forward to the next one!

I mean, I don't understand, brother, I thought Munawar Faruqui would bring a little dark humor, a little reality, a little sense of comedy. But after watching "First Copy", my head went cold.
💬 There is no plot 💬 There is no proper buildup 💬 There is nothing that can be seen and said - Oops brother! I didn't think of this!
Hearing the title "First Copy", I thought, maybe there will be some harsh jokes on the film industry or celebrity lifestyle, or Munawar will give some sharp message with his own comedy twist... But this was completely half-cooked content!
🙄 The dialogues were also like they were made in a hurry.
🎭 The characters come and go in such a way that it seems like a rough draft rehearsal is going on!
😑 There is not even a drop of that smart punch in Munawar's stand-up. Rather, it's completely boring, weak, and poorly timed content.
📉 My rating: 3.5/10 - Some people might watch it because of Munawar, but in the end they'll say, "What's the first copy of this?"

You know that one friend who cracks jokes at funerals but somehow makes it poetic? That's First Copy.
It's not your typical Netflix-polished, over-edited, influencer-friendly project where everyone's teeth look like they paid EMI for veneers. No. This one's rough around the edges, and honestly, thank God for that. I'm tired of content pretending to be deep when it's just two good-looking people making eye contact in slow motion.
Munawar, being Munawar, does what he does best, makes you laugh, then slaps you with existential dread mid-chuckle. The kind of humor where you're laughing at a joke and two seconds later, you realize he's basically describing your life, and now you're contemplating your childhood trauma. Beautiful.
Is it flawless? Absolutely not. There are moments so raw it feels like you accidentally opened someone's personal diary. But weirdly, that's the charm. It's like eating street food, you know it might mess you up later, but in that moment, it's exactly what you needed.
Bottom line: First Copy isn't for everyone. It's for people who find comfort in discomfort. The ones who like their jokes with a side of pain and their stories with unresolved endings.
