I can't believe these reviews! I'm not one of the actors, I'm not the director and I'm not a friend of a friend. Just some guy who watches my Amazon fire TV a lot. (This was on tubi TV, amazingly awesome free app. It has big blockbusters and tv shows and everything).
Anyways, I have just about zero patience for bad movies. I will turn a movie off in the first 10 or 15 seconds. This movie kept my eyes on the screen and that's saying a lot because I was trying to research my hobby on my tablet. The young girl was a legit actress. Good as any. I looked at her profile here on IMDb and she only had two other movies, played an extra in both it looks like. And still, not even a tiny hint of bad acting. She's beautiful too. I'd be surprised if I never saw her again.
This James Duval guy is a very familiar face just don't know where from. Now his acting wasn't too bad but it wasn't as natural feeling as the girl. You know how Keanu Reeves comes off as really awkward but he's a good actor and keeps your attention, James Duval was exactly like Keanu Reeves here. But I'm sure I've seen him in much better movies where he was more relaxed. I mean he was playing a serial killer after all.
But I enjoyed it! I wanted to see what happened next and how it ended. You know how big hollywood movies sometimes have slow scenes with slow or no dialogue but it's good because the actors are interesting? This movie has a lot of scenes like that. It's not fast paced and the dialogue is slow but it keeps your eyes on the screen, so that's pretty good because when a bad movie has slow scenes it's unbearable. To me at least. I rely on IMDb reviews and ratings a lot. You can generally get a good idea if a movie is a total flop or not. But these people really missed the mark here. It's a fine movie. Yes I guess it's a b movie, never have known exactly what makes a movie a b movie but considering that it's a damn good movie.

I loved this movie. It does start out slow and stays a little slow until mid-movie but it all makes sense when it comes together. The ending was a little confusing the first time; I had to watch it twice and the very end left viewers with more questions. This is a psychological crime drama so it's going to make you think about what's taking place throughout the movie and how it's going to affect the outcome. The main female character did something the other female characters didn't and that's what made the plot twist very interesting to me. It's definitely worth watching but don't watch when you're sleepy or unfocused because you want to be focused for this one.
It was slow, anticlimactic, and poorly executed. Bad acting. Poor camera crew. It was like a cheap made at home $100 movie. Would not recommend
- however, this also far from bad.
The drawbacks on this film are:
the horrid soundtrack which keep playing non-stop - and the bad choice of music as well
the poor lighting
bad editing
bad voice syncing
lack of camera angles
lack of intenseity
lack of fear from the very beginning
A really good cast - a decent budget, some decent camera work, a far better sound track, some intense music which brings out the story and a little more thought put into this - as well as another rewrite or two on the script to bring it up a bit would have made this much more interesting.
This had a small budget and some close to new beginners for it's crew and cast - and while it's not horrid, it's not great either.
There is plenty of potential here - but is was passed on for something that is just watchable - but nothing special.
I easily would have developed this into a much tighter intense story - with some fear from the very beginning.
There was no fear or anxiety and there was no depth - and there should have been plenty.
Depth, some nice camera work, better editing and some intense mystery - as well as some mystery and a backing soundtrack that isn't nerve-racking would have made this into a really cool movie.
Even with the two leads, they weren't bad - but in the wrong hands with the low budget, they missed the opportunity to shine.
If you can get over the horrible lighting, the God awful camera-work (think shaky and out of focus quite a few times), and Tommy Dreamer's annoyingly bad acting, it's actually a pretty good movie. I'd never watched anything with Rachel Jane Conn in it before, but turns out she's one hell of an actor. She could teach some of the so called A- listers a few lessons in how to scream like you're in actual pain, or conveying a plethora of emotions with your facial expressions alone (looking at you, Kristen Stewart). James Duval was also great, but can't really comment on his acting without giving spoilers. I really liked the premise and the script as well, and the twist, and even the ending. Those are really rare in B (or C, in this case?) movies. Go ahead and give it a shot; you might like it too.

- TriviaWrestling fans should recognize Detective Marx as ECW and WWE Hardcore Legend Tommy Dreamer.
- ErroresIn the closing monologue for Detective Marx (Tom Dreamer) you can see the character walking back and forth along the side of the table 'checking the police file' but it doesn't take much zooming to realize it's his lines in plain view.
