What a waste of two hours. Cringe kids doing toxic things. Utterly bad acting, worthless music, most irritating characters ever in a tamil film. Mr Ra Pa. Pls go back to making your original witty socially relevant films.

This is a sci-fic movie with forgettable characters. Too many teens in the movie hence we cannot have the integration with all the characters and the focus wavers upon all the characters. We used to say "Padatha engayo aramichu engayo poiduchu" (the movie started in a right path and ended up getting diverted to someplace else) and this this is how I exactly felt. Two hours was pretty long for the movie and the second half of the movie kinda was a snooze fest and the concepts used here wasn't that much convincing and was clearly kept just for the sake of "different view" kinda stuff. Overall, one time watchable and forgettable!
There are movies that cater to the audiences temperament and there are movies that intend to create a certain kind of temperament in its audience, and those kinds of movies may demand more from its audience, it would demand them to be open to new ways of thinking, it would demand them to ruminate their present understanding of the world in which they exist, it would demand them to remember their ability to ask questions which is what we humans think makes us humans and sets us apart from other living organisms, TEENZ movie is a one of its kind in Tamil cinema, A Movie that I guess may not appeal to the Tamil audience, but it surely is a movie that Tamil film audience may not know that they had waited for over 40 years...
The Tamil audience right now can't understand this film because they lack the ability to grasp the concept, and for people who only watch commercial movies, how will they understand this.... There's no value for talent here.... This is a completely new idea. I've seen so many sci-fi movies, yet this concept feels very fresh to me. I have no idea how he even came up with it. I too thought this was just going to be a horror movie or something about an urban legend, but it turned out to be something truly unique and very well done. I'm definitely looking forward to the next part.
Teenz 2024: A Missed Opportunity
Based on the classic sci-fi film Gold Disk 1977, Teenz 2024 unfortunately fails to capture the magic of its predecessor. The first half, which focuses on a group of teenage students, is filled with mundane conversations and cringe-worthy humor. The plot takes a sudden turn with the introduction of aliens, but the execution is lackluster.
The second half, while attempting to delve into sci-fi elements, is plagued by outdated comedy scenes that hinder the overall pacing. The film's true potential lies in its brief sci-fi sequences, which, though promising, are fleeting. Ultimately, Teenz 2024 is a missed opportunity that fails to deliver a satisfying cinematic experience.
