Nosso Lar 2: Os Mensageiros

The first movie, Nosso Lar, was revealing, exciting, and full of moments that grab your attention.

In this second movie, that essence is lost a bit. I haven't read the book, but the movie gets boring at times.

Andre Luiz role is a secondary one, I guess the book may be written that way too.

You don't see the Astral City at any time. The "other side" stage seems to be the same always. It's cool at first, but then it's very repetitive.

The main music is the same as the old movie from 2010. Some effects are well done, others are a bit poor for the time we live in.

In short, seems like they were shorter on budget this time, compared to the first movie that was very well interpreted.

I'll give it 5 stars, I found it mainly boring. I would still like to see more Chico Xavier's books adapted to film.

Not as good as the first, but just as educational and instructive, it brings us teachings and faith, a sense of hope and the question that has haunted me for a long time, what is my mission here on earth? Despite the box office success in the first weeks, it failed to achieve the phenomenon that its predecessor was... Good, educational, full of hope, a message of love and faith...

Five spirits from Nosso Lar come to Earth to help a promising medium who got lost in the web of selfishness and, after death, wanders the world acting against his former companions.

A divine and well done spiritual work. The production was nothing to be desired, the acting of the characters was perfect! 10/10.

Nosso Lar 2 is the sequel to the first film (which was also spectacular!). In this story, we further unravel the mysteries of spirituality, of Chico and many other magnificent beings/people in this universe.

A film that all spiritualists must watch, the best film ever produced on this topic!

The cinematography was superb, the audience was hooked on the film throughout the entire session. The sound was also beautifully produced. Congratulations to the entire film team, you guys are awesome!

Following the smashing success of NOSSO LAR, the producers hurry up to developing a sequel over this thematic subject afterlife using another book The Messengers wrote by own André Luis, which I'd read the book which allowed me eligible to expatiate some commentaries concerning the neuralgic issue, as expected the filmmaker Wagner de Assis had to compress the whole book in 107 minutes running time, then he exposes just few characters only.

The main change came on leading cast Edson Celulari as the head messenger Aniceto taking care of small group about to returning on Earth aiming for a improvement experience in the matter, all them have a prearranged mission previously with Aniceto, hereinafter he takes André Luis and others members to learning how help them at Rio de Janeiro whereby all those people coming from Nosso Lar were born, there some fail dreadfully, thus requiring indefinity time to a rescue on threshold regions, others no quite just needing a small assistance to ascension.

The picture somewhat lost the impact of its forerunner, although for the less enlightened is plenty insightful, all the casting had a strong performance, the FX has an upgrade, it wasn't released in physical format, just available on digital in every platforms, it pleases to me deeply, dealing with a fantastic subject addressed to younger generations, let's see what tomorrow brings!!
