Through the Door

I let a movie play while I need about on my phone. If something happens to take my attention away from that, it may be one worth watching. What made me look at the TV with THIS one was to aim the remote to switch it off, it was that underwhelming. It was more exciting watching the cat sleeping on my lap!

Oh, dear, got to find more characters to be able to submit this review. Let's try now, nope, got to find another 183! Here's a tip, never polish wet shoes. That's more interesting than this film was. Oh, my legs have gone to sleep. Managed to fold them, more comfortable now. There, I think that's enou.

This movie is about a web site that lets people apply to go through an exclusive time travel portal. Those selected will have the chance to restart their lives from the beginning with no memory of their previous life and hopefully make better choices the second time around.

This is a movie with a very low budget and a lot of problems with the script. Like that the main character is only 23 and gorgeous and still has her whole life ahead of her. And she hasn't done anything that bad so she isn't someone you would think needs to start her life over again. But there she is anyway.

Another problem is that things weren't explained thoroughly enough including the main character's reason for wanting to go through the portal. Even the character she explains it to thinks it's not a good enough reason. I think if she just took a little more time to talk about it helping us understand why things were so terrible because of the choices that she made, that would have helped.

It also doesn't completely fit into the genre of science fiction since there is a supernatural character of some sort. I also wouldn't call it a thriller. It's more like a mystery.

There are other problems like the way that it ended because it doesn't show how anything has changed.

So I hate to say it but this was a bad movie. I thought it had a strong start. It just went downhill very quickly. But kudos to everyone involved in making this movie. I don't think it was a total failure. And I recommend seeing it if it sounds like a movie you might like.
