The initial scroll tries to pass this film off as a "lost" movie, whose origins, date and personnel are unknown. However, this is belied by the film itself. It carries a full list of cast and crew (although all but one of these credited individuals are unique to this film). The cast and crew all have Italian names, but the film looks resolutely North American. The only actor to appear in any other film is
Genoveva Rossi, who has a legitimately Italian name and a long resume. The film's director and cinematographer, "Marcello Diometti", is arguably its writer and producer
Jim Haggerty, who does have a sense of humour. The claim about the unknown date is untenable; the action of the film (as shown by the calendar on the wall) takes place on Halloween, October 31st 1978.
