Due to the popularity of the wraparound narrator character of "Doom", a prequel film titled 'The Song of Lucinda' started production in early 2025 starring Christopher Kahler and Samantha Hupp. Kahler has stated the film is "a gothic romance turned bloody spaghetti western revenge film with a twist of supernatural elements" and will end leading directly into 'Unearthed' where Hupp and Kahler's characters had been previously established.
