Engaging and moving drama from Pakistan! Name of the drama is very appropriate meaning the spiritual awakening. The story is told partly in flashbacks and this works well as we wonder why this girl is not permitted to leave the house until the age of 20. When she eventually comes out, we see the world from the perspective of someone who is viewing the outside world and nature for the first time. Well written and directed examing important themes of our age - social media, anxiety and loneliness. With progress in society and technological advances comes the minuses that are examined in this very different from the norm Pakistani drama. Would recommend English subtitles for the global audience to appreciate. A must see for those discerning viewers who only watch high quality dramas.
