Better than expected.

Better than I thought. I felt like the humor fell pretty flat mostly. So in that aspect it was not that funny and not many laughs. But, as an action movie I found it quite entertaining. It kept me on the edge of my seat at some points and was actually very exciting throughout a large part of the movie with a few plot twists and well made action scenes. Some parts did not logically make sense to me but it really doesn't matter and does not effect my overall opinion of the movie.

My rating is honestly 6.5 but since it's not possible I'd rather give the benefit of the doubt - a 7, because of the fact that I was entertained.

Perfect entertainment

This is one of the most entertaining and exciting comedy movies I've seen in years. A bit unrealistic in some cases but the characters make up for it with interest. The main character really need a standing ovation for his simple yet brilliant role as conny.

It feels like 3 movies in one with not a single boring moment. We didn't know where the film was heading with 40 minutes left.

A perfect family movie / perfect entertainment that shouldnt listen to the critics. Me and my girlfriend loved this film and saw it for what it was.: perfect light entertainment to be enjoyed at home in front of the tv.

Much better then i excepted!

This was far better then i expected.

Theres been some time since i saw the original "Strul" from 1988, so i was pretty intrigued and interested when i saw the trailer for this reboot. I quickly recognised and was abit surprised of the wide range of familiar faces of the actors. Many famous Swedish actors in it.

This one was actually pretty good. Its one of these cozy, easy to watch, crime thriller/comedy.

I had some mixed feelings sometimes, because it lacks abit in the plot with some holes, but it manages to cover them up, with great acting and a pretty funny manuscript and storytelling.

Definitely worth watching!

Fast and time pass movie!

Seen this Swedish movie dubbed in English. Simple story with suspenseful to some extent. It's the funny scenes that keep it going! Especially the scenes of laundry spin wash of the hero!! There are many scenes like hero and the police gal Diana hide themselves behind huge TV, prison scenes are nice watch.

Hero's body language is funny at times matching the screenplay. Director used the knowledge of TV calibration and noise cancellation headphones are utilised well in the story.

Overall this is a good time pass movie with fun moments guaranteed!!

Looking forward to such funny movies with fast screenplays.

A surprisingly good movie and quite entertaining.

Watched this movie yesterday. Checked it out because the premise seem good. 1- Storyline was fun and quirky. 2- acting was good. 3- comedy was funny but quite European which is extra quirky. 4- the flow of the movie is good and they build character quite well. 5- No political nonesense or characters being superheroes because they belong to some special section. Summary - low budget movies are a scarcity in mainstream media over the last decade. Hopefully more movies like this will make a return. The 1990's were the golden age of such movies. I really had a lot of fun watching this and it kept me on edge for the entire movie.

This is a remake of Strul (1988), and there are several nods to that film, including:
during the heist in the beginning, one of the characters is whistling the same tune that one of the characters in the first film sang repeatedly.
the prison that Conny goes to in this film is named the same as one of the other inmates in the previous film, Gränges.
the actor who played the main character in the original film (Björn Skifs) shows up in a cameo near the climax.
a song sung by the original actor is played at two points in the movie.
during the escape in the airport, one member of the SWAT team screams the same thing as one of the characters in the original film: "Stop! Can't you stop!" in the same tone of voice.
after finding the tunnel leading out of the prison, Conny uses clothes that was stashed by the bad guys, and the tan leather jacket and red cap are very similar to the clothes that original Conny wears after breaking out, also stashed by the bad guys.
the endings of both films hinges on showing someone a video of somebody committing a crime.
