This spans conversation with an aging Raj Kapoor (who in retrospect, was reaching the end of his life) about cinema, music and his personal associations with actresses in his directed works.
Kapoor was a giant of Indian filmmaking and had an impeccable sense of music, giving great melodies. Appropriate songs from his numerous films have been sampled/shown in the documentary.
I do feel that the documentary doesn't go deep enough when it comes to conversation about cinema and diverges to interviews with other folks regarding Raj Kapoor. The latter had enough talent in himself to speak about cinema or it's associated tangents and I would have loved to hear his views on both Indian film-making and world film makers.
Kapoor, being a commercial maker working in the city of Bombay is often ignored in favor of art house directors when it comes to serious cinema; but making a commercial film that melds both a social issue within the constraints of such film-making with great music is an art in itself.
