That's exactly what happens in this series.

The actors speak in an accent that is claimed to be 'Hijazi,' but it's not at all. It's actually the accent of people who have recently immigrated to the Saudi Hijaz region - non-Arab communities who struggle to pronounce Arabic letters correctly.

I don't understand why the media insists on promoting this accent as if it were the original Hijazi accent.

The true Hijazi dialect is ancient, rich, and mentioned in the Holy Qur'an and Hadith. Hijazis are among the most eloquent Arabs to this day.

I kindly ask those in charge to give this dialect the attention it deserves, just like Egyptians take pride in showcasing the authentic dialects of Upper Egypt and Aswan."
