As someone who doesn't watch trailers I like the first time viewing experience that comes with new shows. This starts of pretty good and moves at a good pace for the plot. If you play games then you will be familiar with the concept. So they're a lot of characters but you quickly get an idea of the main cast.
Pros:I liked the idea and you get intrigued with trying to figure out what's happening etc.
Con:After episode 2 I found myself skipping a lot of the dialogue. The sound of whinny, backstabbing and annoying teenagers bubble-wrapped in high school clique drama get tiresome very quickly.
I didn't like the leads they seem pretty dull and emotionless. You can't feel or route for any character as they're all irritating.
The longer you watch the less you become interested. You just want it to end so you can figure out what was happening and who had made the game. K-dramas love school based plots especially in the survival segment. Sadly this doesn't hit the spot for me!

Korean Drama '' Night Has Come '' is a death game with a class of high school students as participants.
The drama starts off quite strongly, with the story being gripping and intriguing enough to spark the interest and to have the viewer look for who is behind everything and to figure out what is going on. The use of the mafia game was interesting as well. The bloodshed, though plenty, wasn't just there for show, moreover, but used nicely in the plot. Also, some characters were quite fascinating to follow.
However, the ending was what ruined this drama. First of all, it raised more questions than answers. Also, it was unsatisfying, leaving things unsolved, probably, but unlikely, hinting at a second season. Finally, nothing was explained about that final plot twist, as to how the masterminds behind the game managed to do as they did.
At least, the performances were strong by everyone in the cast.
So, overall, six out of ten.

The drama is entertaining for sure. The pace is fast, acting is good and has an original concept.
Crazy plot twists and not predictable at all but the last plot twist was too unbelievable. I mean this wasn't a believable drama from the start, a bunch of students get stuck in a youth center and they are forced to start playing a game where they have to kill each other to survive.
Until then everything is good and although there's a few holes in the plot, you can ignore them and enjoy the action and rhythm of trying to figure out who are the bad guys and who will die every night ( be aware there's many very graphic violence and blood in this drama and they are not subtle showing them....)
But then towards the end there's a major change/twist in the plot that it's so unbelievable crazy, I am not sure it works for me. I feel like its the typical kdrama storyline of guilt tripping mixed with revenge koreans love so much and it just frustrates me.
Regardless, I think the ending is very fitting and I don't think we need a sequel for this.
Overall a nice watch for a Friday night with friends.

The Night Has Come is a solid 8/10-a visually striking film that delivers a moody, immersive experience. The cinematography is beautifully crafted, with every scene thoughtfully composed to draw you into its world. The music pairs perfectly, setting a tone that's both haunting and captivating, enhancing the story's emotional pull.
At times, the plot can be a bit confusing, with a few moments that leave you wondering where the story is headed. But overall, it comes together nicely, offering a unique experience that's both intriguing and memorable. Fans of atmospheric storytelling will find a lot to appreciate here.

A number of students at a retreat are surprised when all the staff and teachers suddenly go missing. They then hear an announcement where an actual game of Mafia will be played and they will have to vote each night for the death of one of them. It is based on the usual Mafia game with Mafia, Civilians, Police officers and Doctors. There are boundaries so they cannot leave the scene and the game must be played out. All the young actors do a good job and there are many twists and turns as the body count mounts up. Don't take it too seriously and enjoy the journey to who will survive in the end.
