The arrival of Last Bullet does not merely signal the end of a film series; it marks the concluding statement of a high-energy French action trilogy built on an almost defiant philosophy of practical filmmaking. In an era saturated with digital artifice, this series has consistently championed a more tactile reality, and this finale is its most definitive expression.
Its central figure, Lino, is a character forged from grease and gasoline, a gifted mechanic whose quiet intensity finds its true voice not in dialogue, but in the precise engineering of a roaring engine or the masterful handling of a vehicle at its physical limits. His skills are his weapons.

Netflix has proven many times that it can deliver high-octane, fast-paced action films. Whether it's with popular franchises like Extraction, or foreign titles like Exterritorial, the streaming service offers a wide selection of adrenaline-fueled films.
One of them is the French franchise Lost Bullet, the perfect replacement for the Fast & Furious franchise. The highly underrated high-octane car action franchise premiered in 2020 on Netflix, and returned in 2022 with the sequel Lost Bullet 2, and recently released the film series' conclusion, Last Bullet. Following the recent release of the last entry, the Lost Bullet franchise has taken over the non-English global charts, not just with the latest entry, but all the installments, with over 21 million views, per Tudum.
Last Bullet crashed on Netflix on May 7, and subscribers rushed to watch the film. It debuted in third place globally on the non-English charts with 16.4 million views and 30.8 million hours viewed for the...

A bilingual action thriller climbs Netflix's global chart as one of the biggest non-English movies of all time in just two weeks. Following the releases of non-English movies Bullet Train Explosion, Lost Bullet, Jewel Thief - The Heist Begins, and more, the streamer has seen a few exceptional new movies claiming the top spots on its charts. For example, the freshly released Spanish romantic drama Bad Influence, which follows an ex-con's messy romance with a wealthy heiress, has become the No. 1 most popular movie in 10 countries within a week of its release.
In the U.S., this week's most popular movies include a few brand new titles, including Vince Vaughn's highly rated comedy Nonnas, Tom Hardy's Havoc, and the French action thriller Last Bullet. However, while those titles are all performing quite strongly, it's a new German action movie that has made it onto Netflix's all-time chart.

The acclaimed French action thriller movie series, Lost Bullet, has released its third and supposedly final entry, Last Bullet, which lives up to the standard of entertaining action spectacle set by its predecessors. While the ingenuity in hard-hitting combat choreography, practical stunts, and streamlined, fast-paced storytelling have been key highlights of the franchise, characterization plays a key role in holding it all together. There is no crazy complexity involved in the character arcs; the intrigue arises from the personalities and decision-making capabilities of the key players, all of whom belong to either side of the law. Most importantly, the trilogy charts the growth of the characters so well that the conclusion of the journey feels satisfying.

Talk about going out with a bang! Netflix’s acclaimed French car-action thriller Lost Bullet series ends its journey remarkably with the franchise’s third and final entry, Last Bullet, which neatly wraps up the overarching story, which involves protagonist Lino’s quest for justice. It was Lino’s desperate attempt to do right by Charas, his friend and leader of the Anti-Go Fast squad, who offered Lino a second chance in life. Charas’ murder at the hands of Areski set a series of events in motion that took Lino’s life through a topsy-turvy ride, and with Lost Bullet 3, his arc concludes in a satisfying way. The trademark brilliance in high-octane action choreography heightens an already good narrative and doesn’t let viewers feel any sluggishness through the movie’s nearly two-hour runtime.

The supposed end to the French action film franchise, Lost Bullet, has arrived in the form of another glossy presentation, aptly titled Last Bullet, or Balle perdue 3 in French. The fight between the criminals carrying out the Go-Fast trade and the personnel once entrusted with bringing them down now reaches an unprecedented height, as those supposed to have been allies now turn against each other, and the protagonist, Lino, has to deal with both sides. Last Bullet is as entertaining as the previous films in the franchise, and even surpasses the others in some aspects, making it a recommended watch for fans of the action genre.

I don’t watch action movies on Netflix if I don’t have to write about them. I know that sounds snobbish, but can you really blame my stance? Every year, the streaming platform unleashes a barrage of projects, most of which look like they’ve been shot in a parking lot covered with green screens, and it’s really tough to sift through them to find a gem. So, unless I’m getting paid for it, I don’t make the effort. In 2022, though, I made an exception when I saw the poster for Lost Bullet 2. I don’t know why, but the title, the actors, and the promise of some vehicular mayhem piqued my interest. Of course, I had to watch Lost Bullet before that. Hence, I reluctantly pressed play, fully expecting to be disappointed. However, by the time my viewing session ended, I realized that I...

Directed by Guillaume Pierret, who also helmed the previous two installments, this third film picks up the story where the others left off: a drug-related intrigue where you can follow both sides of the story, that of the police and that of the traffickers. This third entry, like its predecessors, makes realism its hallmark, prioritizing authenticity over unnatural effects and plot twists.
While the series has garnered significant critical acclaim and a dedicated fanbase, it has often been described as an “underrated action trilogy” or a “hidden gem” that many viewers “haven’t seen (but really should).”

The French action thriller movie series Lost Bullet asks a pretty simple question: what if the Fast and Furious movies were actually good? Don’t get me wrong, beyond some surface-level stereotypes, the Lost Bullet series is nowhere similar to the generic slop turned out by that franchise, thanks to its gritty narrative treatment, high-octane action coupled with sleek, tight storytelling, and brilliantly performed car chase/car action sequences. With the first two installments already setting a benchmark in the subgenre, the much-anticipated third and final part of the trilogy, Last Bullet, has to bear the burden of expectations. Before the release of the final entry later this week, let’s go through a quick recap of the major events so far.

The third and final movie in one of the most underrated action trilogies on Netflix is gearing up to hit the streamer tomorrow, and the first reactions have now pulled into view. Last Bullet, which brings the explosive story of the “indestructible” car genius Lino to an end, is due to hit Netflix on May 7, and the first pair of early reactions to the action outing have heaped praise on the “incredible” finale.
Directed by Guillaume Pierret, who has helmed all three installments in the Bullet series, Last Bullet finds Alban Lenoir back in the driving seat as Lino, with the rest of the cast comprised of Nicolas Duvauchelle, Stéfi Celma, Gérard Lanvin, Pascale Arbillot, Quentin D'Hainaut, Julie Tedesco, and Anne Serra. Declared as the finale of this “turbo-charged trilogy,” Last Bullet finds Lino freshly released from prison and quickly gearing up to enact his vengeance against the crooked cop who destroyed his life.

True crime, action, horror: sounds like just another night shift at the Waffle House. But you can get it all in the comfort of your home on Netflix this week Smothered and covered is at your discretion.
You'll find new seasons of several popular series this week, and plenty of new fare, too. From a fixture on the scene of American comedy for decades to one of the latest and greatest horror-comedy mashups, Netflix has your flix fix this week. Sorry, you'll have to wait for that Little House on the Prairie reboot.
The new arrivals might not entirely make up for the loss of some titles getting the axe this week. I'd be quite sad about the departure of both seasons of Justice League: Unlimited if it weren't for the fact I wisely purchased it years ago. For the life of me, I still can't figure out why DC...
