I really like Chandragupta Maurya.. Not just a follower but am wholeheartedly into it. I would humbly request you to start it again. Really. Please. My life revolves around Chanakya's words. Every now and then I read about it but wish to view it. Words, Visuals, acting is AMAZING. I have never seen a show like this. This is my one and only show, I can watch a million times. My whole family is into it. Only Indian show we are all attached to. Please restart the show. Beg of you.

One of the best TV series ever been broadcast in Indian television. Story, Direction, Acting everything about this TV series is just great. What I love most about the program is true and very deep depiction of the Indian Philosophy of Karma Yoga. Being a Yogi, I wonder how the writer of this TV program understood all these intricacies of philosophy. While writing this review I really fall short of genuine words of Admiration.

Asto Maa Sahgamaya !! Jai Maa Bharti ! The story of Chankya and Chandragupta is well known to Indians. But this serial is above all expectations. Each and every character has performed very well in this show. Music , Drama each and every thing is very well coordinated. And what to say about Aamatya Rakshas , Sukhdev , Dhananand , ChandraGupta, and above all The Great CHANAKYA. Manish Wadhwa has done justice to his character, every word which come out of his mouth will enter your soul. It's unfortunate that show stopped due to some problems , but I can assure you that this show is above or at least in equality with other shows like Mahabharata , Game of Thrones , Dexter , T.W.D. ETC. I suggest you to watch it ASAP.

Would request Sagar Arts to please restart the show or else make the remaining episodes publicly available! One of the best shows in the history of Indian Television. I have watched this serial for like a million times and still can't get enough of it. Would really like to know rest of the story.

This Chandragupta, unlike the latest one, was so good and accurate. The displayed Chandragupta's character very nicely, shown as a respectful disciple of Chanakya, and every episode was very interesting until he grew up. The actors are very well-chosen.

In India, Television is stagnant. The youth are bombarded with daily soaps with women planning,plotting and scheming to snatch something away in a large business house. A story is stretched until the grand daughter of the protagonist does not reclaim her honor and love. And for the umpteenth time, these people want you to keep believing that the grandest and most important occupation for all noble people in the country is to keep crying and shouting over spilled tea, property disputes,lost love and so on.

Frankly. There is so much more to life than that,Indians!

Few times does it happen that a guy like me puts away his 'Peaceful Warrior','Batman Begins' and other movies to catch a show on Indian television. And by god,it was this show. Blown away in each and every episode by the music, the dialogs, the action, the intensity and the wisdom of Chanakya. The early texts on one of the greatest Indian kings Chandragupta Maurya (1st) and his mentor Chanakya transcend into a highly inspiring, thrilling and deeply moving TV series. Performances of lead actors(especially Manish Badhwaa as Chanakya) including the kid Chandragupta are fantastic!

Out of the 105 episodes, the first 50 are impeccable. Beyond these, usual tendencies of Indian television intrude a bit. Shoddy graphics, stretched episodes, a side love story distracting our mighty-to-be -king ruin the fun. However the show soon recovers, bringing in brilliant diplomacy tactics, espionage and so on. (No it's not a copy,it's original from Chandragupta historic texts and the writer of the show) For the dismal Indian youth searching for inspiration in movies and Manga, this is a must watch.

Chandragupt Maurya was the real hero of our Indian History. When Chankya met him first time then he was a slave.

Chankya got very much impressed with his determination and leadership.

And Chankya decided that Chandragupt could be the Emperor of the United India. Because Chandragupt has qualities that a king should have. . . . . . Everone should watch this serial.

This story not only teaches the true essence behind the saying "Brain over Brawn" How a person, just considered as a revolting teacher, with his wits and cleverness not only defeated mighty Greeks and Indian empires, but also raised the slave boy to become the king.

Plz bring it back plzzzzz.This show was so good the characters,the dialogues...the acting so good.

This is one rare indian tv series which creators didn't get overboard and did illogical plots in the story.

it's historically correct ⭐⭐⭐⭐ well written and portrayed characters ⭐⭐⭐⭐ continuous character development ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ lead actors did terrific job whie other actors also did pretty well job.considering the budget it could be called a masterpiece ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This array of episodes unlike other channels don't have nagging of the scenes, straight into the heart. Perfect music , cast , story plot and logic and emotions. This kind of serial cannot be recreated . Unless and untill , with same cast and music. No need to do unwanted experiments with other casts . This serial needs to come back and do the justice for us .

I was so keen to watch this serial but they left it incomplete.. n it still hurts my heart.. i have learned allot from the sayings of chanakya n felt very proud for the first ever great great Chandragupta maurya.. i don't consider akbar the great but i do consider my mauryan king to be the greatest...

You can get the grasp of the story overall on Chandragupta Maurya. Writers have got most of the events right, but the makers chose theatrics and gimmicks like the 300's "This is Sparta" scene, which makes it hard to watch and takes it unrealistic. The music is loud and performance by most of the actors is below par. The main characters have been chosen nicely and well performed. Projection of king Dhananand's character like an ever drunken or rather like a drug addict and "Nautch girl like" is completely wrong. Again it shows the makers' mood of display leaning towards being loud and playing gimmicks. I've started to watch it seeing the IMDb (biased) ratings. Realized it's unwatchable, however dealt with patience to watch the full narration for love of the story. I've watched Chanakya TV series by Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the makers would've taken a leaf of it. If you've watched Chanakya before, you need to have all patience in the world to watch Chandragupta Maurya.

This is a first historical serial with best story. Just they can't complete story that is very dissapointing 😔

Best for kids . Chanakya character is very aspiring. Each and every word is worth remembering. I love it. I feel very motivated while watching this. I feel proud that India has such a teacher 2500 years ago. Very practical knowledge is imparted by the Chanakya. I have seen Chanakya series also. That series was also very nice. I watch 12 years ago and I again watch with my nine years old son. He is getting many moral values and love for his nation from the series. Picturisation is not that good but who cares as long as lessons are great. What a great passion for unity of nation. I think it is true that unity comes unde external threat. May be our world unite under the threat of alliens.

A must watch What a story line Legendary characters with best actors. Every Role is memorable be it Chanakya or Dhanananda.

Best epic adventure made in India for the Indians.

Super bad use of lights, and overly dramatized soap-opera type version - but still rating it as a 9 BECAUSE of the efforts that they made to bring it to a reality. Still addicted to it, loving its story... our history.

I love this show. I watched it 3 time and like to watch again again.

I have never seen a historical show made so perfectly ever.
