Truly a ridiculous and quasi unethical enterprise. Pure conjecture and pseudoscience preying on victimized parties and correspondingly the community. I don't know how this got made and why Disney/Hulu or whomever financed it.
I will guarantee that the accreditations, alleged expertise, and professional designations that these people purport to have will not stand up to scrutiny by proper governing bodies. I challenge anyone to contact the RCMP or any other of the policing and professional association to question the stated merit of the "Midnight Order".
Of most concern is how predatory these ladies and backers are on the clearly vulnerable and grieving families of the all to real victims.

I love true crime. This show is fast turning into one of the very best out there. Cheers to Sasha Reid and her smart, thoughtful team for spotlighting crime victims who would otherwise be forgotten. I was once asked by a male friend, "why are women so obsessed with serial killers?" I think many people are interested in learning more about what makes a serial killer tick. For women, we can readily and easily empathize with women who have been targeted and murdered by a serial killer. We know it could have easily been us. We also watch to look out for the signs of a psychopath. Knowledge is power. Sasha and her team are bringing that in droves.

Such a great documentary. A testament to determination and also so very much compelling. Makes you ask yourself, "Why is this falling to a civilian?". However, most of the time you are glued to the true crime stories and the details revealed. The filmmaking is complimentary to the subject matter, enhancing, not sensationalizing. This is a story documented, Not a documentary in search of a story or subject. Adding in the seriousness of their work, and it all adds up to informative, rewarding viewing. Highly Recommend. BTW, their work cannot solely be encapsulated by one season. Please bring on Season 2...
And i am on the edge of my seat, and I am outraged. I don't want to tell the narrative here, no spoilers, but the disregard for the lives of women deemed inconsequential is criminal. Sasha Reid and the Order are doing essential work to unearth truth and to value the lives of these women. It is important to watch this story. The director uses the sweeping landscape, vast vistas, in a way that contrasts with the small, hidden world these women inhabited. They were invisible to mainstream society, and went uncounted, unreported, and unavenged. The doc highlights the few people who were willing to dig further over the decades in which the story unfolds. We'll see in episode 4 (I hope) that they have not done this work in vain.
Part of America wants to always be and remain a victim. If that is you, this show is for you.
637 markers of a serial killer? If you list 637 items, any individual is going to have hundreds of those. Your list is useless.
ABOUT MY REVIEWS:
I do not include a synopsis of the film/show -- you can get that anywhere and that does not constitute a meaningful review -- but rather my thoughts and feelings on the film that hopefully will be informative to you in deciding whether to invest 90-180 minutes of your life on it.
My scale: 1-5 decreasing degrees of "terrible", with 5 being "mediocre" 6- OK. Generally held my interest OR had reasonable cast and/or cinematography, might watch it again 7 - Good. My default rating for a movie I liked enough to watch again, but didn't rise to the upper echelons 8- Very good. Would watch again and recommend to others 9- Outstanding. Would watch over and over; top 10% of my ratings 10 - A classic. (Less than 2% receive this rating). For Lifetime Movies for Chicks (LMFC), drop the above scale by 3 notches. A 6 is excellent and 7 almost unattainable.
