Trama

Filmmaker, Emilia Kong is about to be evicted and feels that her script is the answer for her to get money. She applies for funding at Film Reach; however funding officer, Shannon Edmunds, falls for her best friend, Zoe Chadwick.

It's Our Time, is a story about a filmmaker, Emilia Kong, who's about to get evicted by her landlord for not paying her rent on time, who desperately tries to find ways to get money, with the help of her childhood friend, Zoe Chadwick.

Emilia applies for film funding at the Film Reach Funding office where her application is rejected. Feeling desperate, she rocks up to the funding office and meets the charismatic funding officer, Shannon Edmunds. He has no hesitations in rejecting her application to her face, even though she tries to bribe him with cupcakes. Little does she know that Shannon follows her best friend, Zoe on social media and is an Istafan of Zoe's muffins to go!

Zoe and Emilia go to their high school reunion which opens a can of worms to their past. They meet old school mates that trigger good and bad memories. Emilia is upset when botox injected friend, Rhonda Lipkins, brags about her filmmaking rival, Jenny Mobs and when Jackson boasts about his successful lawn mowing business. Emilia finds comfort in listening to Sunnyside Up and Up, a talk back radio show where her old school friend, Ali Lin is the host, and is excited to meet her in person at the reunion.

Feeling desperate to get her film project up, Emilia reapproaches Shannon again, realising he has a crush on her best friend Zoe, and uses their relationship as leverage in order to get him to approve her application again. Everything soon backfires on Emilia, causing a rift between her and her best friend, Zoe and Shannon,

With little time and money, Emilia realises she needs a famous star to get her film over the line, and approaches, Serena Tran. Serena unfortunately turns her project down. It's not until Emilia does a full hearted plea, on social media that it changes the course of her life.

The audience will laugh and cry, and cheer these characters on, for the adventures and decisions these two friends make.
