"Regina" is a movie that offers a thrilling experience to its audience, but it is not without its flaws. The film runs for a mere 1.40 minutes, a relatively short duration for a feature film. Within this limited timeframe, the director faces the challenge of conveying a compelling narrative and engaging the audience effectively.
One of the issues raised by viewers is the pacing of the movie. The director seems to have invested a considerable amount of time in the introduction of the story, which might have led to a rushed feeling later on. This could have been a detriment to the overall depth and development of the plot and characters. As a result, the story lacks the necessary depth and intricacy that could have made it more captivating.
The climax of the film is reserved for the last 30 minutes, which could be seen as a double-edged sword. On the one hand, it builds anticipation and tension for the final act, providing a strong and impactful ending. On the other hand, it might feel abrupt and leave little room for a more gradual and satisfying build-up.
Despite the storytelling flaws, the movie does have some redeeming qualities. The music in "Regina" is described as "too good," and it likely serves to enhance the overall cinematic experience. Music plays a crucial role in creating the right atmosphere and emotions in a thriller, and it seems that the movie succeeds in this aspect.
Additionally, the casting of the film is commendable, with the actors delivering strong performances. Talented and skilled actors can breathe life into their characters, even in a movie where the storytelling might be lacking. Their performances might have compensated to some extent for the shortcomings in the script.
In the end, "Regina" is deemed a passable thriller, meaning it may not be an extraordinary cinematic experience, but it can still offer some entertainment value, especially if you have free time to spare. It appears that the strengths lie in the musical composition and the capable acting by the cast. However, the movie's shortcomings, particularly in the rushed storytelling and lack of depth, may leave some viewers wanting more.
Despite its flaws, "Regina" serves as a reminder of the importance of a well-crafted screenplay and the impact it can have on the overall success of a film. With a more balanced and thoughtfully constructed narrative, the movie might have reached its full potential as a gripping thriller. Nonetheless, it manages to captivate audiences, at least to some extent, and provides a decent option for those looking to indulge in a quick, suspenseful watch.

With no time to be wasted the director jumps into the plot quickly, where all the characters show up instantly keeping the pace study ...
Sunaina does hold the screen with her natural beauty and methodical acting which enhances the movie running...
There is a loop in writing that fails to keep the audience hooked despite a good camera work and bgm also the running time is a major advantage of the film...
Especially the films ends up quite suddenly which shows the poor writing and the songs does stop the movie going at a study pace which is a major setback with lesser runtime the songs should have been chopped...
Overall an average time pass flick...
A garbage shot in 1 hour 57 minutes. Worst screen play and horrible story telling. Things happening in screen for which we have no clue. One good thing is music. Rest of them pathetic. Viewers don't get involved with the characters. Acting and dialogues were written without any thought. No depth or background established for any character. Story telling could have easily been streamlined to make the film good. OTTs just want to follow with content hence such movies mushrooming in the name of content. Hope OTTs spend sometime to filterout good content. A good story line wasted because of poor writing.
The movie started with a usual narration style of how the female lead lost her spouse and fighting for justice, giving us the impression that it is going to be another revenge movie. But once when the twists start unveiling, it keeps us engaged. Sunaina could have been more expressive in few action and emotional scenes that sometimes felt that the background score took over the moment rather than the actor's contribution. But good thing is, the director kept Sunaina's character as subtle yet strong till the end and didn't overdo anything like in some other movies, where the female leads will start flying and kick Villans, overnight.
The bestest thing of the movie is the melodious song "Sooravali polae", which you may keep humming unknowingly, and the background score throughout the movie. Sathish Nair doesn't seem like a new guy to the music field. Kudos.
A simple yet engaging thriller movie, worth to spend a weekend evening.

Just to kill the time, started to watch this movie. It failed that expectation also. Its totally unbearable movie watch and so amateur. It is clearly visible that they tried to make women centric revenge thriller with some twists in the climax.
Total failure on everything, including the cast. Sunaina was irritating and the climax mass pose is top notch. It has no substance just a revenge story, thats all...
if you want to watch a movie and want to troll with your friends while watching, then this is the perfect one. Gather your friends and you will have complete TROLL enjoyment till the very end.
