I started watching Big Brother Canada during season 4 (shoutout to ASAP Science) and I was hooked ever since! In my opinion, the BBCAN seasons are better than some of the recent BBUS seasons (and I'm American). There's more diversity in the casting, they are there to play the game, their production value is great, and they have some fun in the house with their secret missions. Also, there have been several memorable moments and iconic houseguests throughout the six seasons.

However, one thing that distinguishes BBCAN from BBUS is their triple evictions, which are notorious for screwing people over, along with Canada's save. In addition to that, I hear the live feeds aren't good and they often don't work. They're also free, so that explains that. BBCAN can never 100% fully match up to BBUS considering BBUS has been around a lot longer.

Overall, Big Brother Canada is simply amazing! I highly recommend it to any fans of the American version. They may have the same format, but the Canadians manage to make it their own.

The US version is so scripted and they re-hash the old same games, it's boring. The Canadian version (I'm guessing thanks to their many sponsors) has a much bigger budget, bigger house, bigger games and set designs. But with Season 11, it's starting to feel scripted as well, especially with them cutting the live feeds and any live moments on the show are cut so short compared to the US version. I also feel how there's not enough non-physical challenges, which gives the certain physical athletes more of an advantage over the others.

Would love if they modernized their theme song, it feels kinda dated now. They have better modern music during the show, so not sure why the theme song itself is so dated.

Also would like to see the contestants interacting with Arisa more during the live shows. It feels so rushed when they get evicted and barely anything is discussed.

I love BBCAN!!! It's a great version of BB. I just wish it would be easier to access outside of Canada.

Big Brother UK and original US Big Brother are both far superior. Big Brother Canada is the exact same format as the original US Big Brother with nothing unique, the problem is the show cannot compete at all with the original. The show is less creative with really stupid weekly challenges or missions. The people on it are about as interesting (well equally selfish and uninteresting) as the US version but the show is just way less interesting and creative. They're just lifting ideas the real version of the show already did. Get new producers and writers or just let this lame ass show die.

This season was inspiring, diverse, and entertaining. What an incredibly great group of people casted this season. The challenges were way better than past seasons. Keep it up Canada!!

This show is really bad. Just boring and stupid. All the events and challenges are lame and nothing in the show is funny. At least the other versions of Big Brother are funny.

They say that the Canadian are nice, polite, and friendly Eh. Dam was I wrong. This Canadian version makes the US original look like child's play. This reality show is the most cut throat, nerve racking, entertainment I have ever enjoyed. I laughed and cried, at times cursed a few. In the end it was better than a two way. There was more than once that I held my breath and prayed.with fingers crossed. Certainly deserves an award. Brilliant twist and turns at every minute certainly a calculated decision in the unusual house guests chosen. Marsha the Moose was definitely a pet I want to take home. Love the voice. Canada has certainly taken off and no doubt it will stay air borne for awhile.

This is a terrible, juvenile show. Whatever intellectual midgets they hire to produce and write this puerile garbage need to take a long look in the mirror and ask themselves: "What is wrong with me?" You're making the basest garbage the world has ever seen. Just meanness, a complete lack of creativity, entertainment or just plain human decency. This show and everyone in it, and doubtlessly everyone behind it, are all a disgrace. Absolutely disgusting.

Great show!!! Offers a good mix of the US and UK versions.

Houses, comps and themes are all so well done year after year.

I'm excited to see what's in store for season 7.

Also Arisa Cox is a fantastic host.

This show is nothing but a steaming pile of putrid offensive garbage. Nothing funny at all about this. Not original, or interesting, or anything. Only the brain dead could like this.

I love Big Brother Canada when we finally got BBCan in 2013 I was hoping they would get Julie Chen to host the show but Ms Cox Has Done An Amazing Job of hosting the show. I love all of the games, challenges and trivia we get to see each week. But since season 9 the only thing I miss is the longer Nomination and Veto Ceremonies and I miss the Have Not Rooms for those who are on slop, cold showers etc..

I have sent in an audition twice and would love to try again for Season 11 I am just happy that Canada's version of BB is one of the most widely received formats of the show since US Season 2.

Way to go Corus Entertainment.

The cast are just hardcore gangstas at heart. They are polite and respectful and at the same time as evil as they can come. Puts the American show to shame. The production is amazing and so are the twists! Get your Big Brother fix with Canada!!

I don't mind "garbage" reality TV and love some of those shows, like Survivor or Flavor of Love etc, etc. But if a show is garbage it also has to be entertaining like those shows. This show is just garbage that's not even funny or entertaining. It's just so boring and over long I don't understand how anyone can sit through it. Boring people doing boring things, it is just completely lifted from the US version of the show but without any good talent on the show or making the show (can't get entertainment out of these people or come up with ways to do that). This show is a complete waste of time that could be better spent watching paint dry.

This show is just terrible. It's not funny or entertaining in any way, just awful people doing really boring stuff. It's awful.

Big Brother Canada has proven canadians wrong when they refer to canadian shows as a lower budget production. BBCAN delivers never before seen twists, amazing houses and themes, new and refreshing competitions.... I recommend watching seasons 2, 4 and 5. Also Arisa Cox is AMAZING at what she does.

It is just a copy of the US version of Big Brother but with much worse writing, talent and ideas. I was bored out of my mind trying to watch this poor excuse for TV.

If there were awards given out for the most brain dead idiotic worthless television garbage on earth this show would take the top prize for sure. Nothing entertaining or remotely worthwhile on this show at all, just awful people talking and doing the stupidest time wasting things while drooling morons watch. Shame on whoever makes and watches this slime.

I don't know what else I can say other than the title of my review here. This is for sure the worst version of Big Brother I have ever seen and I am including the low budget foreign ones with subtitles online and even the worst seasons of the atrocious "Celebrity Big Brother" show... this show is just boring, basic and busted.

The did not pick people from like 75% of the provinces just found the mentally unstable ones from GTA n i live in GTA you have to look hard to find them still. You would think Canada is some big gay bar i guess this show doesnt represent the Canada i live in thats for sure

Saw the season 1 because I wanted to know what all the hype was about. To all the viewers, it's just a petty show of lying, cunning, conniving, backstabbing, deceitful and manipulative people who win this game. It shows that in life you can do all the f up things and screw people over, and you will still get ahead. Such a disappointment. Can't believe that some people actually love this show. It's an embarrassment that this is the kind of show that is airing on TV. What a way to corrupt the younger and innocent audience.

You'd have to have the IQ of a houseplant to be able to sit through this nonsense.

This version of Big Brother is the worst of all the versions I have seen. Even the non English ones kept my interest more than this one where I didn't have to read subtitles and that is not a joke that is true, this show was so boring. How can you take a winning formula and turn it into garbage like this?
