Burrow

"Burrow" is about a man named John who's living by himself in a forest during the winter. He's trying to survive in a world where humans are becoming extinct. He comes across another man in the forest who's lying on the ground and is apparently unconscious. John takes the man to where he's living. The man eventually regains consciousness and the two of them try to survive together.

John is played by Christian Coulson and the mysterious man is played by Marc Crousillat. Their performances are terrific. I was also impressed with the cinematography, editing, writing, and such. This is a rather depressing short film. I don't wanna spoil the ending, but it's fairly sad. However, the film doesn't end entirely without hope. "Burrow" is very entertaining and I recommend it if you enjoy watching films like "The Revenant" (2015) or "Arctic".

Difficult to write why this short film is just special. For the easy way to imagine yourself in simmilar situation, for the so rare present of relation with God, for the kindness who is more than joy to not be alone, for connection with other, for intense last scenes.

For image and for simple, basic, essential things reminded in fair manner . Not last, for acting. After six years of deep loneliness, discovering the other, in forest, helping him, being your mate and obvious more. All being admirable reflected by the last scenes.

A profound beautiful film.
