Wingless

Very good acting and narrative, the story line goes back to forth to before and now to tell a real human story of harships, emotions, progress and overcoming. The movie really touched me, I was so consumed from the narrative, that at some point I felt I was actually watching Mihail performing at the para olympics and almost clapped with the characters. This movie is about the strength of the spirit, the will to go on, the spark to overcome, the vision to outgrow your circumstances, to raise even if you "fall" many times, to challenge your self to the point of the impossible. Does society put us limits or we do?

I've been waiting for a good Bulgarian production for years, and it has finally arrived.

The storytelling is captivating, keeping the audience engaged. The plot is based on a true story-the life of Paralympic athlete Mihail Hristov.

Many of us will find this story easy to relate to: the struggle to prove oneself, the inner strength needed to keep going, the challenge of holding on to the people we care about, and the effort to come to terms with past mistakes. In the end, it's about finding peace with oneself.

If that's not a universally existential story, then what is?

The movie however is not dramatically overwhelming. I found it highly entertaining, having some nice humour and dialog, and yet touching and thought provoking.

Applause to the director, producers, and cast who made this film happen.

Last but not least, I was highly impressed by the performances of the younger cast. I saw promising new talent, and such praise rarely comes from me.

The pacing felt sluggish, and the characters lacked depth, making it difficult to stay engaged. The film promised an intriguing plot but failed to deliver, leaving viewers with a sense of dissatisfaction. Instead of captivating the audience, it seemed to wander aimlessly, missing opportunities to explore meaningful themes. Overall, "The Untruthful Journey" is a film that struggles to find its footing, leaving much to be desired in terms of entertainment and authenticity.
