I've had conversations with my cat more interesting than this terrible movie. I was compelled to review it after seeing the obvious fake reviews giving this disaster of a film 10/10. The female lead also has no charisma and there is zero chemistry between the characters.
But yeah if you are bored and looking for something to watch. Keep looking bc this movie will bore you into a slumber. Ah my review is too short, but the thing is, nothing interesting happens in the movie so it's almost impossible to write a proper feedback on the film. It's just two people having the most cringe conversations over and over.

Duane Edward's drama/thriller/romance "Wrong Numbers" was a recent discovery (through the film's Facebook page), and what started as a blind watch turned into a 2025 gem discovery!
It takes a lot to captivate an audience these days, especially with a limited cast (two in this case), and essentially focus on one story throughout, which, as a fellow writer, is beyond admirable, and something I hope to accomplish one day.
Yes, there is a lot of back-and-forth talking between the two characters, however, the importance is the realism of the conversations being had and how the actions are handled in an entirely realistic manner.
I promise that once you finish this film (and I know you will) that you will say to yourself, "I know someone like that".
Mission accomplished to everyone attached to this beautiful indie drama.

*I watched Duane Edwards' film Wrong Numbers via the Indie Rights YouTube channel for free (with ads).
The dialogue between Emma and Jack is smart, captivating, witty, and makes you think, but also leaves you feeling as if you've been in the same situation yourself. (brilliant filmmaking)
Wrong Numbers showcases the real impact of casual encounters on individuals' lives and how we allow them to consume not only our hearts but also our entire way of life.
Thankfully, I've never been in this situation before, so it was an exciting "fly on the wall" type of watch; however, I know many people who have encountered this, and believe me, it typically does not end well, and Duane paints that picture perfectly!

If I watch B-grade movies, it's usually as a precursor to falling asleep and it generally works. This one was no exception, probably because it was (IMO) boring as.
The story focuses on two people who meet by chance; there is a twenty-year gap between the young, single woman and an older man and we observe their main interaction over twenty-four hours, with a brief encounter several months later. This kind of scenario (one on one) requires strong characters, an interesting story-line and engagement by the viewer. Unfortunately, it's a mediocre tale about stereotypes: she is finding herself, desperately wants a boyfriend/husband and latches on to the sympathetic, happily-married family man, with predictable results.
While the male lead appears sympathetic and believable in his role, the woman is irritating in her know-all manner and smart-a responses. However, it is no surprise that he gives in to the once-off opportunity, despite the remorse afterwards (the old cliché of "she made me feel alive" comes to mind). These are not exciting characters and their short-lived relationship is dragged out over the duration of the movie, with nothing to relieve the tedium.
Because the characters are dull, we don't really care about the predictable ending (although it's meant to be a twist on the familiar theme) and where they go from there. We're just glad it's over.

I absolutely loved Wrong Numbers! From the first few minutes, it had this casual, easygoing energy that instantly hooked me. The chemistry between the leads was so natural, and their conversations felt like something straight out of real life. The humor was perfectly timed - not over the top, just genuine and relatable. I loved how the story flowed without ever feeling rushed or forced. It's such a reminder that sometimes the wrong call or wrong turn can lead you exactly where you need to be. By the end, I was smiling like an idiot. Such a fun, heartwarming movie to watch! I would highly recommend it.
