I genuinely don't understand how Vrshabha is sitting anywhere near a 10/10 rating on IMDb. Either people watched a completely different film, or the rating system has become a joke. What I saw was not a misunderstood masterpiece or a bold experiment-it was a bloated, lifeless bomb that mistakes loudness for substance and slow motion for storytelling.
Let's start with the core problem: there is nothing in this film. No gripping story, no emotional depth, no originality. The plot crawls forward using tired clichés that have been recycled so many times in Indian cinema that they've lost all impact. Every major beat is predictable minutes before it happens. There is no tension because the film never earns it. It just assumes the audience will clap because a "mass" moment is happening on screen.
The acting, surprisingly, is one of the weakest aspects. Instead of nuanced performances, we get exaggerated expressions and forced intensity. It feels less like actors inhabiting characters and more like people posing for posters. Emotional scenes fall flat because they are written poorly and performed without conviction.
