I've read the manga several times so I know it pretty well by now. I was looking forward to the anime version, but worried I might be disappointed. Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised! The script is basically the same, and they include all important scenes. The depictions of Noah and Rae are pretty spot on, so I'm happy with it. The anime itself is super interesting and unique. For anyone who likes romance anime with a hint of comedy it's a must! All the anime I've seen had romance of kids, or teens, so it's nice to see the romance in an adult world for once! I hope we can expect more isekai/romance anime like this (no harem), in the future!
A tale based on a down to earth, stubborn woman and a playful yet aloof gentle(ish)man. I'm trying to keep away from spoilers but I love the running question of what fate is. A curse that cannot be escaped or a thread you can drag to your destination kicking and screaming?
The snarky young lady is reincarnated in a meek woman's place she knows is destined to die from murder and is trying to live by dancing through her death flags and seeks the initially reluctant aid of her friends future husband- the books male lead. Surprise; isakai. Will her fate snap her up or will she outlive her previous self in this new world full of monsters? There are also actual monsters too.
Next season please.

This anime is really a great creation such a plot twist and storyline i have never ever watched before . If I were to be honest I really liked Noah 's character the most when he kept flirting with raeliana all the time and though it seemed there were hardly a chance for romantic gestures between them ,the whole anime is filled with beautiful depiction of love in the French history if I am taking it right way . I want to see more of them and further just like I am addicted to the series . And more importantly of I put forward ,this animation deserves more seasons as there is much more content onwards to carry on the plot secondly which show hasn't got popularity for season 2 . We just want more and I am going to suggest this anime to my every colleagues .loved it ,waiting for more ,please don't disappoint us .
She was pushed❕ She took a year off but couldn't get into one of her chosen schools. Just as she gets her acceptance text someone pushes her off of the roof. As she rapidly approaches street level she remembers how the shaman said that her future will be cut short. "I was fated to die young."
What's this? She has been reincarnated into another world! Raeliana is her name. She doesn't belong here. /HERE/ is inside a book; the last novel that she read! Raeliana is a /fictional/ character. This shouldn't be possible! Actually, her situation is pretty sweet. Daddy's an oil baron. She lives in a mansion. Her little sister is adorable and just loves her, and she is strikingly beautiful. There's one problem. It's a biggin. Her character, per the book, is going to die very soon. "Over My Dead body," she grits teeth & almost growls.
Adapted from a Manhwa (a South Korean web novel written by Milcha), WREU@TDM is a 2023 release of 12 23-minute English dubbed episodes. I like to watch with the closed captioning on. This gave me a chuckle because the female lead is captioned homophonically as "Ray Liotta", but she's "Ray lee 'an ah". When the last episode ended, I was in shock. There's a lot of story left to be told, and it doesn't look like there's any intention to make a S2. I found a link online to read the the manga, and this is the first time I've ever been tempted enough to go and do that. This is a special show
It's her fiance that is going to poison her. He's been slipping arsenic into her tea. In the book, the heroine, which is BEATRICE, /not/ her, ends up catching her friend Raeliana's murderer. She returns from Europe after her friend's death and figures out what happened. Rae doesn't like that storyline. She prefers living. She's decided to change things.
The families agreed on the engagement. Rae doesn't have much choice in the matter. Telling someone he was going to poison her would probably end up landing her in an asylum. She's stuck. She attempts to get Brooks to cancel the engagement, but it doesn't matter how she acts. He's determined to move forward. When she becomes more direct, so does he. 'Your family's nouveau-riche. You need me, I don't need you. Your company can't grow any further without my title. Good luck trying to get rid of me.' He said something like that. For a moment, his true colors came through. (Before ep1's close, we learn that Brooks was completely lying when he said that he didn't need her. He's under threat of death and financial ruin himself. He desperately needs to marry her).
It's time for a strategy change. Rae turns her sights to the novel's protagonist, Wynknight Noah. Even for a cartoon, he's a good looking guy. Noah is sometimes next in line to the throne, when he's not in trouble. "He's as two-faced as they come," Rae tells us. She would know, she read all about it. She knows that the Nobles are desperately looking for the Royal Seal. They can't pass anything into law until they find it. Knowledge is power, and she's literally read the book on this world, which provided cogent and vital Information that she can exchange. At that evening's soiree, Rae approaches Noah and proposes a deal that involves the royal seal. His interest peaked immediately. Right then, that bum of a fiance, Brooks, approaches and tries to peel her away. She boldly takes a step to Noah and tells Brooks that they've fallen in love. To her shock, Noah goes along with it. The footman comes and collects her as the family is leaving, so the evening's over. Noah looks over to his attendant and orders that Rae and Brooks both be watched.
Early the next morning, the maid wakes Rae to tell her that the Duke is here to see her! There's some back-n-forth, but she lets him know that she knows some stuff. She drew up a contract. He will pose as her fiance for 6 mos and she will assist him. Plus, she will keep his secret. Their deal ensures that she will never spill the beans - she swears. By the end of ep2, she's on her way to the Duke's Mansion. Why didn't she think it through more? She has to move in with him! It's part of the royal protocol: She needs bride training. Not only that, but she's got a scary but silent albino bodyguard with a death stare (we finally get to hear him talk in ep7. To himself. Non-vocally, Inside his own head). The Duke is ALL-IN on this ruse.
The plot reminds me of the superb 🇨🇳show The Romance of Tiger and Rose-9.8. The FL, an author, is having trouble with her script. She actually has a fight with the lead actor over it. He surmises that she's never been in love and he also thinks her script is misogynistic. She writes until she passes out over the weekend trying to make adjustments in time to meet her deadline, and wakes up inside her own story. When she wakes up, she realizes she's the third princess who's going to die in an early episode. She has to scramble for the whole show to try and complete the plot, fix her errors, and hopefully exit after the end.
The book doesn't tell Rae everything, either. For instance, she can't hold her liquor at all. She had to find out the hard way., In ep3 Noah springs a ball on her. When she excuses herself to get ready, he tells her to not bother, and calls in Nick Maddox, Monsieur Magician. MAKEOVER! They are checking all the romantic fantasy boxes in this one. From that aspect, this is a boilerplate, or standard off-the-rack romance - it has most of the usual elements. Just like food, 2 chefs could take the same ingredients but come out with something completely different. This author delivers. The anime is a delight through and through. Same for the manga.
The Duke had his head down when she entered and was in the middle of saying he'd be a minute as he wraps up work before they leave, but when he sees her, everything stops. After a long pause he gets up and walks to the exit without ever looking back at the pages he had been studying. (I thought he was going to get the family jewels and put them on her. Maybe that will come later). All she took in, though, was that he will never stoop to tossing a compliment her way, apparently! 😤
At the ball Rae makes friends with Eriteal Freese, another noblewoman. She also cannot avoid Shamall Vivian, a shameless vixen who is obsessed with Noah in the book, who causes the FL all kinds of problems as she attempts to break them up. Wait... that's HER, now! Vivian looks like she'd like to vivisect Rae. She's brilliant at passive aggressive insults, but Rae is no slouch either. Rightbackatcha, she effectively says. Rae makes a strong impression on everyone she meets.
The night ends with a bang. A thud, actually, as her kidnappers toss Rae into the wagon. Of course, Duke and company save the night. He has a full security battalion and, of course, Taylor Adam. That albino bodyguard is super deadly, so she's rescued before morning. She falls asleep on the horse against Noah's chest, on the way back, and wakes up in his bed. After a full retreat and long day of fuming, she finds out that the only thing that happened there was sleep. What's clear is that, already, these 2 don't even know anyone else is around when they are interacting with eachother.
Next it's the formal monster hunt. Handkerchief favors are expected. The Duke has never accepted one before, Rae learns. So she just makes one for Adam. Much to her surprise, Noah /demands/ one from her before he sets out. The custom is for the triumphant hunters to present a lady with their catch of monsters. The Duke has never presented a monster to anyone. The mean girls, led by Vivian, make certain that Rae has a miserable time with Noah away and do all they can to make her doubt him. Before long, a Cerberus, long feared and sought after, becomes Rae's trophy. ("I'm back /my love./").
All this while, Rae feels like she's stolen someone else's body and her book-bff's lover. Her best friend only comes home in the book for her funeral. Rae's been sending Beatrice letters, but they were returned.
We will eventually meet Beatrice, but it's not what we expect. Heika Demint is the supreme religious leader. As Rae was presented with the best trophy from the hunt, she's charged with the yearly flame lighting at the temple. The whole sequence is a romp. Rae turns everything upside down. A by-product of her world switch is that she understands all languages, even ancient sacred ones. When Pontiff Demint learns that, /he's/ smitten with Rae himself! The anime ends abruptly after that.
The story is incomplete, so they don't take a deep dive into deeper themes, but the messages are positive. The Royal family are reformers. They are allowing for commoners to gain wealth and privilege (they're against nouveau-riche law) and they stopped using child soldiers. Adam Taylor used to be a child soldier, which is one reason he's so very deadly.
The art is quite nice. People are drawn in the new classic digital style of fine lines, soft colors, pastels and popping eyes. The shading has a watercolor look in some places, especially hair. Backgrounds are ornate and chandelier heavy. Bouquets of flowers and fantastical gardens are everywhere. Even a pen holder is handworked silver. It's truly beautiful, stylized and enhanced realism. There's a cheerfulness to the show. It may not produce many LOLs, but it keeps the viewer grinning. Still... Oh no! It ends leaving us hanging. A S2 is said to be unlikely. This is sad. One can pull up the manga online.

Some say that women are monsters, but I find they can be far more terrifying.
I find nothing dreams women's potential more quickly than marriage.
Negative thinking never leads to anything good.
If all you're interested in is realism, you'll miss out on Life's greatest thrills.

This anime catches you from the first episode, I found myself binging it over one night.
One negative point is that the ending of the anime is open and keeps a lot of questions.
The rest of the manhwa has the rest of answers and it's beyond amazing I never expected such a storyline and plot twists from it to be fair, but I was beyond surprised.
There's a great character development that is so smooth that you don't even feel the change until you reflect on them earlier.
The animation is amazing.
I highly recommend watching this anime if you're into a good isekai romance with no whiny female characters. We don't see a lot of animes with strong female characters that comes on naturally.
Read the manhwa afterwards I hope it gets a season 2.
