The fifth season finale arrives without any definitive answer as to the status of The Equalizer. While CBS hasn’t officially said if the series has been cancelled, it did confirm it’s not moving forward on a spinoff starring Titus Welliver. Welliver’s character was introduced as a former CIA operative and McCall’s mentor on the April 20, 2025 episode.
Directed by Geoff Shotz and written by Joe Wilson and Rob Hanning, episode 18 will air on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at 10pm Et/Pt.
