In these kind of movies (Hallmark types) everything is as good as the two main actors are.

Both of them are very likable, charming and do a convincing job enough.

The lady who is playing "mom" is probably the best actress of the movie.

Where it falls apart, is the supporting cast. They are saying lines of dialogue like if they were reading Q-cards hidden under the camera.

I am not even sure that they are really trying to be movie actors. They look more like people taken locally who do local theater for the fun of it.

I would watch another movie with both of the main actors... Maybe something Christmassy or on an island.

As to the story and editing,, this is made in 30 days with a budget under 2 million dollars so,, it's on par with the industry standards.

It's a charming little movie with the least amount of conflict or antagonism possible intended for its target audience (ladies in their 40's-50's).
