Anything with Jodie Davis on Lifetime is amazing. She does wonders playing the crazy girlfriend, deranged killer, and obsessed lover. Her role in this defines histrionic personality disorder too a T.
Honestly I enjoy these type of "thriller" movies. Most of them tend to be super cliché, and I want to give this one a try. Overall I enjoyed the storyline, however I feel like they could've spice things up even more than they did. Several of the scenarios that occur in the movie are highly unlikely to happen that way in real life. Also the way the movie progressed itself was pretty predictable.
I think the casting was good, but possibly with some script adjustments and a higher budget this might be getting more than a four or five star review. With a title like Dirty Teacher you would expect a lot more shock value out if the movie. Give it a go and see what you think.

Is the winner in this silly movie about teacher seducing a student. Josie Davis being the teacher, you can't blame the student. She is looking good in tight skirts and blouses and those batting eyes. The opposite is the student's girlfriend who is a plain Jane in looks and character. She seems to be in another world. So, it's not a surprise that the male student wanted something more attractive and exciting. The rest of the cast, including the student, fail to live up to Ms Davis' performance.
I rate this movie only for the presence of Josie Davis. Not the script, acting, directing. I give it a 6 for Josie.

When a high school English literature teacher takes maternity leave, substitute Josie Davis (as Molly Matson) arrives to fill out the year. She also fills out some tight skirts and blouses. Possibly psycho, due to weird flashbacks from an ugly childhood, Ms. Davis shows ample cleavage and a lot of leg. This teacher is so obviously looking for sex; we wonder why the administration didn't observe her more closely. There are dozens of older looking "teenagers" who notice Davis peddling her services. She watches handsome baseball star Cameron Deane Stewart (as Danny Campbell) at practice, and decides he is to be her seduction...
This is the same plot as several TV movies, which seem to be recycled with one or two changes in character and setting. "Dirty Teacher" could have been improved by leaving off the "tease" opening, since it hints at an event which could (or should) be more uncertain. Also, Mr. Stewart is the conflicted protagonist instead of the one you're expecting, college-focused girlfriend Kelcie Stranahan (as Jamie Hall). The story doesn't make much of this, but it makes the movie's structure more interesting. The story sticks to formula and all the players, including director Doug Campbell and his crew, essay their roles well.
***** Dirty Teacher (3/30/13) Doug Campbell ~ Josie Davis, Kelcie Stranahan, Cameron Deane Stewart, Darlene Vogel

From the first moment new teacher Ms. Matson (Josie Davis) sees Danny (Cameron Deane Stewart) on the baseball diamond, she knows what she wants. And so do we.
Ms. Matson is a hard bodied TILF, packed into tight outfits. She also will not be denied. She sets out on a scorched-earth campaign to bring Danny under her spell, leaving damage in her wake.
Danny's girlfriend is Jamie (Kellie Stranahan), a good student with a bright future. She and Danny are in Ms. Matson's literature class, allowing her to use her influence as a teacher to lure Danny and sidetrack Jamie.
The entire story is predictable. Ms. Matson is creepy. Many scenes feel sterile. The classroom scenes are clichéd. All of the students are attractive. The players on the high school baseball team can't throw a ball.
This television movie is guilty of being uninteresting.

¿Sabías que…?
- ErroresOn Danny's phone, it shows up as an iMessage (an iPhone feature) but the teacher is using an Android phone, which would not be an iMessage.
This is incorrect. The send button on an iPhone changes to blue when it is using iMessage. In this case it is green which would be the correct color for a sms text from a different brand of phone.
