I don't really know how to describe this film otger than noisey!
The story line isn't the best but it is watchable. I've seen worse. The one thing I couldn't stand though was all the added extra audio.
Watch and listen to it, every footstep made the same noise no matter the surface, the shoe or the person. Every creaky door was the same creak. It was like for the entire film they had a choice of 10 sound effects and for me it devalued the film.
At the end of the day no matter how good or bad a story is, the music and sounds add to that richness and for me I had to walk away and come back a few times due to how annoying and repetitive the limited sound set was.

I never watch Lifetime movies but a rainy Saturday led me to this. With a couple of exceptions (the detective and the daughter), the acting was terrible, especially by the mother. Not only did the writers make her character very dumb, they also stole a line, almost verbatim, from Seinfeld: "You like him, like him?" "What are you, in high school?" If I were Larry David, I would check into that.
There were a few suspenseful moments (knocking sounds in the middle of the night), but once she found furniture moved around in the morning, she still didn't call the authorities?
Bottom line, don't bother to waste your time. Keep channel surfing.

I watched the whole thing even though I thought the mother was a complete idiot. How can she be so stupid? She is so quick to trust a complete stranger over her own child. I kind of think she is so desperate for a man that she is willing to throw away her common sense. She may have low self esteem. She is bending over backwards for this weirdo dude she just met.
Furniture being moved and thuds in the middle of the night and she still stays in the house. Lifetime movies are so predictable. I have nothing better to do with my time. They are somewhat entertaining and not traumatizing like some other movies out there so...

It's always disappointing to come across a movie that is clearly devoid of originality and creativity, and unfortunately, this movie is good example.
From start to finish, the movie appeared to be a mixture of ideas taken from other, more successful films. It was as if the filmmakers had thrown together a bunch of scenes from various movies and hoped that no one would notice the lack of originality.
The plot was so predictable that it was almost laughable. Every twist and turn could be seen coming from a mile away, and it felt like the filmmakers weren't even trying to surprise the audience. How can someone not know about their house they are living, did they order their house from amazon?

The title is hilarious. The acting is laughable. Especially the daughter. Her acting is as bad as her annoying character. She sounds like she's reading and remembering her lines, especially when her and Noah were in the pool talking about following ugh I forgot his name. She is really hard to ingest.
This is a lifetime movie so it's nothing to write home about, nor is it an award winner. It's also predictable. Not only the plot but the script. I heard what they were going to say right before they said it.
I'm starting to think Lifetime hires writers, producers, directors etc straight out of school (both high school and secondary). If that's the case, I can appreciate these movies a lot more. Otherwise, my goodness. I'd be so embarrassed to be a seasoned individual whose name is attached to these projects.
All in all, I will continue to watch LMN movies. Ahahahaha all that for me to say this. But it's true. Terrible movies like LMN, Tubi and Netflix originals are my guilty pleasure. Shrugs. Thank you for keeping us entertained no matter what. All press is good press so whether we hate it, like it or love it, we're watching.
