Following the outbreak of the virus, a group of survivors trying to survive in the world with the zombie rapists finds that a greater threat might soon be lurking from a cult that intends to follow through the zombie actions and forces them to fight off both threats.
This was a decent and overall enjoyable follow-up to the original. Much like that effort, a lot of the positives here dwell from the ability to focus and feature the rather explicit and extreme material with real ease. The way this one exposes the opening shots of the woman getting attacked and the zombie getting dispatched by the group makes for a stellar introduction as to what's going on in this one, and with the later scenes involving the one zombie with the engorged and comically-large private region getting involved in the action or scenes of the cyborg going through the group of soldiers in grand fashion let this play with that kind of familiar sleazy thrill quite easily. There's other good stuff in this section away from the action, with the talking captive head revealing the nature of their desires and dreams while the various softcore romps including the new lesbian sequence or the reminiscing through the photograph come off rather well in their sleazy thrills, yet the scenes at the rally following the exhibition of the survivor and her demon baby come far closer to reveling in the rather depraved atmosphere present here which really goes quite a long ways towards making this one watchable. There's only a few zombie swarm scenes here which still provides the gore and bloodshed rather nicely, which along with the explicit nudity really gives this one all that it has to like about it. There's a few problems here, as the film's biggest problem is the same with the first in the fact that there's such a hard subject matter to take into account here as the film attempts to support the theory that women are there simply to have men have sex with them as the chemical only affects men. Turning them into sex-crazed maniacs rather than flesh-eating hordes who will attack any and all women as often as they want wherever they want sends quite a strong message and the continuous sequences showing multiple men abusing and raping women in incredibly explicit and sexual means doesn't come off in the best light. Even still, the low-budget nature in the enhanced amount of obvious CGI during a large part of the scenes does hurt this one somewhat which looks cheap and out-of-place in the rest of the film, and they don't really seem as necessary as it should've been. The other flaw to this one is the rather low amount of zombie action in here which is even more overt due to how quick the film really is, as it barely cracks an hour and yet doesn't have too many scenes with the zombies in action, giving this one a much more dragged out pace than it really needed. It's still enjoyable, but there are some obvious flaws to it.
Rated Unrated/NC-17: Continuous Full Nudity, Explicit Rape, strong sex scenes, Graphic Violence and Graphic Language.

While the first one is not a enjoyable or smart, in any way whatsoever, this second "movie" in the franchise is just plain dumb. It fails in every level. Not a single aspect of this is salvageable.
They even have a scene where the actors walk in place pretending to stroll down the street on a green screen. This is laughable, and not in a "so bad its good" way
Furthermore, how is this not called just porn?
It is a film that improves a little to the first of the saga. I'm not saying it's a big deal but at least there is a development in some characters and on the other hand we see that there is a certain aim in the sequences that are definitely the attraction of the film. Even so, it is still mediocre at all levels ... As much as it represents the murky fantasies of the average Japanese, it is still lacking in quality for trained stomachs like those of this server. Only for fans.
Right, well I had watched the 2012 movie "Reipu Zonbi: Lust of the Dead" years ago, and I vaguely recall it as being a really, really bad movie. So as I had the opportunity to sit down and watch the 2013 sequel "Reipu Zonbi: Lust of the Dead 2", it was with quite some reluctancy. However, I opted to give it a chance on the account of it being better than the first movie.
However, I have to admit that I wasn't harboring any expectations really to writers Yûko Momochi and Naoyuki Tomomatsu to deliver something outstanding. I mean, just look at the title alone, and the fact that the movie is starring Asami.
And as it turned out then "Reipu Zonbi: Lust of the Dead 2" was every bit as bad as the first movie, and then some. But hey, if you enjoyed the first movie then you'll also enjoy this sequel. I didn't enjoy the first movie, nor did I enjoy this 2013 sequel.
The special effects in "Reipu Zonbi: Lust of the Dead 2" are exactly that; special. And not in a good way. The special effects here are very low budget and amateurish. But then again, of course there is an audience out there for a movie such as this; perhaps a mostly Japanese audience I suppose, since this franchise has spawned five movies.
And with "Reipu Zonbi: Lust of the Dead 2" being as bad as the first movie, I am not even going to bother with the rest of the movie. This is definitely in a league of its own.
My rating of director Naoyuki Tomomatsu's 2013 "Reipu Zonbi: Lust of the Dead 2" lands on a very generous two out of ten stars, mostly for the effort they put into making this movie.

You would have to be a zombie to enjoy this rubbish. Poor plot, amateur actors & special effects that look like they fell out of a corn flake box. I usually enjoy films that are against the grain, but this has to be in a poor league of it's own. I should have known this would be as bad as it's title. You really would be better watching a blank screen.

- TriviaThe second film introduces many fantastical and science fiction elements that weren't present in the first film; such as cloning (Performed by Nozomi, who in the first film was only a nurse but can now clone full grown adults from dead tissue samples) and indestructible cyborgs.
