As Drag Race España, the brazilian version of the franchise bring to the audiencia a new flavor of how drag could be made. To the ones who only knows the american spiceless recipie the show could be a little stranger, but if take time to relish, the brazilian queens will bring you a new way to see thei art form.
With a lot of heart and passion, this cast will make you cry and laugh at same time but withouy the old storytelling that RuVersion brougth to us for all this time. Their experiencies are unique and completely shows how Brazil has a different kind of drag and another social reallity whom make the experience completly different. The queens brings humor, heart, ritm and love for their art and their strougles.
Of course we have some issues with the edit, but is the first season and things could be improved for the next seasons.
It's a great season so far!

One of a string of Drag Races made in Columbia early in 2023, I believe this came second and features the same gigantic mirror-festooned werk room, cool light-up stage, and awkwardly extended 12 episodes as Mexico. The similarities cease there though as this fellow South American series ended up as the strongest of the three. Strong creative contestants, strong host, strong judging and judges (particularly taken with Dudu Bertholini). Structurally it didn't suffer as badly as Mexico and really the only draw-back was the strange dark undercurrent of bullying, in-fighting and serious viciousness between the queens both on camera and behind the scenes. Very weird. That being said, Brazil was one of the few countries that was really shouting out for a Drag franchise (no offence to Belgium) and it could have done far worse than this.
This franchise is one of the best of drag race, and Drag Race Brazil continues the legacy with flying colors. The show's cast is a dazzling array of talent, each queen bringing their unique flair to the competition. From jaw-dropping runway looks to unforgettable performances, the queens consistently serve iconic moments that keep fans at the edge of their seats.
What truly sets Drag Race Brazil apart is its charismatic host who effortlessly guides the show with a perfect blend of humor, sass, and genuine encouragement. The chemistry between the host and the contestants creates a warm and engaging atmosphere that draws viewers in from the very beginning.
The challenges are thoughtfully designed, pushing the queens to showcase their creativity, versatility, and star quality. From acting challenges that leave us in stitches to heart-pounding lip sync battles that leave us breathless, the competition is fierce and electrifying.
Moreover, Drag Race Brazil doesn't shy away from addressing important issues, using its platform to highlight stories that resonate deeply with both the contestants and the audience. This adds a layer of emotional depth to the show, making it not just a fabulous spectacle, but also a meaningful experience.
In a world where representation matters, Drag Race Brazil stands out for its diverse cast, giving a platform to queens from various backgrounds and identities. This inclusivity not only reflects the vibrant spirit of drag, but also sends a powerful message of acceptance and empowerment to viewers worldwide.
With its stellar production quality, captivating challenges, and a host that radiates charisma, Drag Race Brazil proves itself as a worthy addition to the drag race legacy. It's more than just a competition; it's a celebration of self-expression, creativity, and the unbreakable spirit of drag.

The program starts slower, nervous girls and dubious editing, but gradually they begin to appear more and live the program in mastery. Very captivating and charismatic conrestants but the biggest highlight is the host Grag Queen. I'm sure a second season will bring an even bigger evolution and investments from the competitors. The Drag scene in Brazil still does not have the proper recognition and the program will greatly increase the power of Queens who still work with almost nothing to bring Excellence. Dudu Bertoline brings a very professional vision and daddy's jokes that only Brazilians understand, but it is enough to bring great moments.
Wooooowww I am amazed... The show started with such a great energy, the workroom looks absolutely fabulous, so colourful and full of carnival's references.. the judges and the host Grag Queen know exactly what they are doing, they are very coherent, spontaneous great humour and sense of critic. The first challenge were so much fun... from the beginning you already know that all of the queens are fierce and they are ready to fight for the crown. It's awesome that they brought a diverse cast, with queens from different age, backgrounds and places, I can't wait to see more of it. I'm super excited. 10/10.
