I loved this show. I binged watched the show. It was fantastic. I love every second of it. The two main character had the best chemistry and there romance was great. This show was differnce from anything I ever have seen. I loved the setting and the plot of the story. There was a lot of character development even know the story was pretty short. It pack a lot into each episode and got me emotion. I loved the moment when he kissed the other dude and when he thought the other dude was gonna died so he decided to sing to him instead of leaving and saving himself. I love part of these moments. I saw like when the gray hair dude took then baby that was found back to rise it with his mom. That part was good too. The class system thing reminded me of things I have saw in other show but it was a bit differnce. I recommend this show to everyone as long as you don't have a problem with two men kissing or LGBT.
Without spoiling any major plot details, I can say that all character and relationship development appears natural and un-forced. Despite still somewhat falling short of the novel in some areas, the anime more than makes up for it with brilliant music and hidden symbolism in the artwork. Unlike so many of it's peers, No. 6 requires no "buying in" to the story, yet still manages to create a fantasic world with many interesting facets.
Any critism I might have concerns only anime-specific design choices in the last episode that don't holistically take away from the story at all.
I would invite anyone to watch the first episode, then pick up the novel (or any of the free translations of the novel available online) and read away.

It is a very beautiful anime with a thoughtful plot. But that thought could have been better executed.
The cinematography is gorgeous and the character development is nicely written. Just some plot lines seemed a bit incomplete at the end and maybe a season 2 would have been good to explain the same.
Anyway while watching the series you won't regret the time that you gave. It is also a sweet treat when we see different art forms and the reference to environment as a whole.

It was all just absolutely gorgeous. I think that the story was so well balanced and unlike other shows the whole thing just progressed so beautifully and smoothly.
I loved the way how the relationship between Sion and Rat, didn't rush in any way like they do in most shows. And the romance in it, is so much different than the lovey-dovey crap we see so much these days; as it all took it's time and gave us the chance to actually get to know the characters and their personalities.
I finished this anime two days ago and it was powerful enough for me to shed tears, because of the way it captivates the viewer with it's complete and utter beauty. It's absolutely a must see kind of anime; I highly recommend it.

It was an alright show. I liked the storyline and Nezumi and Shion's relationship development. The animation was great as well. However, the story seemed very rushed. It seemed to serve as promotion for the manga more than anything else. I watched it in one sitting, so it has an addictive element. I give it an 8/10.
