While I certainly wasn't a fan of the 2023 movie "Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey", I still sat down to watch the sequel "Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2", simply because I had the opportunity to do so, plus it as a movie that I hadn't already seen.
Needless to say, that given my lack of being impressed with the predecessor, then I wasn't really harboring any grand expectations to writers Rhys Frake-Waterfield and Matt Leslie. But still, I opted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps the sequel would prove better than the 2023 predecessor.
Luckily "Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2" did prove better than its predecessor. There was a bit more elaborate and thought through script and storyline to this sequel. And it was a generally more wholesome and enjoyable storyline that they had put together. So I was definitely genuinely surprised with the outcome of this 2024 sequel.
I wasn't familiar with the cast ensemble in this movie. But I will say that they acting performances were actually fair. Sure, this wasn't Shakespearian theater, nor were I expecting it to be. But for a movie of this type, it was actually good enough acting performances being put on by the cast ensemble.
How tacky is it when movie makers put footage from their first movie on a TV in the sequel and passing it off as something a character in the movie was watching? Yeah, that happened in this movie, and it was just cringeworthy.
Visually then "Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2" definitely was good. There were a good amount of violence, blood, gore and mayhem throughout the course of the 98 minutes that the movie ran for. And that certainly was good for a seasoned gorehound such as myself.
The production level in the movie was really good, and it was showing on the screen.
My rating of "Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2" lands on a five out of ten stars.

This is by no stretch of the imagination the best horror film ever made, but it's also by no stretch of the imagination the worst horror film ever made. If you enjoy slasher horror films, you will definitely get a kick out of this (think Saw, I Spit On Your Grave, Hostel- or anything by Eli Roth really, if you enjoy those, check this out). It includes a couple of twists that keep the story engaging enough for the run time, and it avoids following the same formula as the first film. There are a couple of comedic lines/scenes, as is to be expected. However, it's mostly an on par slasher horror film, that uses its exisiting characters creatively, and the new ones sparingly to keep them interesting. The writing, directing and acting is not Oscar worthy, but it is definitely better than a lot of what is being put out right now. Despite the amusing and silly premise of Winnie the Pooh slaughtering people, this film is surprisingly entertaining. It delivers on what it promises, quality time with your mates without bending the mind! If you grab a couple beers, I'm sure you won't hate this. Just remember to appreciate it for what it is. It's not trying to win awards. It's trying to entertain you.

Christopher Robin is the main protagonist, that already sets itself apart from the first film, and It was a fun time. They even added more characters. Another glaring issue was the narrator, it just seemed so uninteresting and uninspiring. But these problems have all brushed aside, and it seems much improved here. Maybe I did take the first film too seriously for it's own good, but it isn't a good film. Blood and Honey 2? Yeah, well maybe. So it's time to sit down and talk, about Winnie-The-Pooh 2:Blood and Honey, let's get into the review.
First off it seems more accurate to the beloved childhood toys, where Christopher lives in Ashdown and near the forrest. There's some beutiful imagery of the Town, and there's even a mystery surrounding Christopher's brothers disappearance. Creating for a nice mystery and an interesting scene. Which also shows a highlight in the writing, it's much better. The Character depth is much stronger. Thus making for a more entertaining and exciting watch.
Tigger, Pooh and Friends re-unite. For a chilling experience. Right from the start they take down a few girls in a Caravan. And now they are aiming to take down all of Ashdown and it's citizens but who will stop them, will it be Christopher Robin, or an armed group. No, It'll just be the Police. Who don't look so inept. In most Horror movies the police are played down and aren't very believable, here they seem to be much better. Even trying to search for the Killers. And Tigger using an Iconic quote, "That's my line" sends shivers down anyone's spine.
Christopher has a Job, and his family are heavily involved in the film, this is a good thing because it feels more developed and spends time with our Character in his own universe. His friends who also try to stop Tigger, the flying sourcer (Bird), and Pooh and they do alot of damage to one of his friends. Whilst Robin is now a nurse. And doesn't really have help, apart from the person who talks to him about his horrifying situation.
The good thing about this film is his Brothers story, which is quickly touched upon, it's not a main focus on the film but it does give us some insight on the character of Robin and his parents. And a tragic accident that happened that day, but still pops up in his mind every know and then.
Pooh returns to Christopher's home, where his parents are then killed. The sister, still remains to be alive. It was a strange decision by Pooh. But he does take down the parents, just as Robin's realisation takes him slower to get down to his parent's. And the good thing about this is it raises the stakes, and the emotional impact. The party then becomes a Blood bath. Which creates for an entertaining last half an hour of the film.
The ending is maybe slightly cheap, but I actually enjoyed the bond between the siblings, it more or less felt like a fitting conclusion to the whole family bond presented in the film. And it ends the film on a sweet end to a quite horrific turn of events in 2Hrs and 50 Minutes almost, if you count these two Movies combined. The Problems still the weak character writing, but it isn't as bad here. The costumes do look fine. Underatted, I do like the creature masks. Very cool and stylish.
Would I recommend this film?
Only If your really into your Horror, otherwise you can probably just skip it. 5/10.

I am not sure what the people who gave this movie a 9 or 10 are smoking. This movie is utter garbage. The first one was bad yes but the second one isn't better. Does a higher body count equal a better movie? Seems like a lot of people think so. Sure this is a low-budget movie like the first one but a bad movie is a bad movie regardless of budget. The acting is a touch better but that hardly makes up for the rest of it. The special effects are not great, the music is bad and the story is bad. A movie like this even having a "story" is laughable at best. The kills aren't even creative either. Do yourself a favor and skip this one.

In Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2, there are some things that are better than the original. But despite that, the movie remains below normal rqgarding its level.
In the movie, I praised the story and the more elements and revelations it has than the original, visual and sound effects, which were a lot better than the first installment, screenplay, cinematography, and ending, which paves the way for the next films in the Twisted Childhood Universe.
But the other elements, like the performances of the cast, soundtrack, and direction were very normal, even below than normal. Even the elements that I praised, although they are better in this installment than the first one, they did not reach an excellent level like the movies of these days. That is why when it comes to the score, I give Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 5 out of 10.

Please don't waste your money. You would think with a higher budget they might be able to produce something somewhat palatable but alas it did not deliver (not even close). Some of the worst acting I've ever seen, the costumes are awful, the story itself is just bad and the special effects are so very cheap. The death scenes were lacking as well as any sort of character development or decent plot or twists. I don't know why they thought this would work but it most certainly does not. I've seen some bad horror over the years but this one takes the cake. The only thing 'horror' about this is how horrifically terrible it is. Take my advice and DO NOT waste your time.

Well, here we are again. We watched this last night in the cinema with about 15 other people. Why do I do this to myself? Because I love horror films. Love them. And I wanted so much to enjoy the first Blood and Honey, and I felt scammed. But with the promise of an increased budget and what appeared to be positive things being said about it, I thought I would give it another go.
The budget has been spent on three things. The costumes have been improved upon. And, they have clearly spent a lot on getting Tiktokers to say good things, and the admittedly clever use of marketing.
But, make no mistake, it's bad. I will say worse than the first, because here we can't try to partially blame a low budget. It falls firmly at the doorstep of bad filmmaking.
The director doesn't seem to know how to make a film scary or interesting or look good or get good performances or frame a good shot or create tension or.... Looking at their IMDB it would appear they have made ALOT of films. How is it that they don't know anything about what makes a film work? The writer shows no skill in creating a cohesive story with some muddled backpedaling to the original idea. It's also strangely boring. We didn't walk out like we did the first, as I had heard there was a rave scene at the end of the film. But it's not worth waiting for. Again, no tension, no scare, just some badly rendered gore, weird camera angles, bad lighting, jarring music and, like the first, kills offscreen.
The acting is bad. Here, one of the producers has cast (or rather mis-cast) themselves as Christopher Robin. I think making Christopher Robin a gay character is an interesting and novel idea. But they make absolutely no mention to it whatsoever. They also have a one expression look throughout and the Pooh confrontation is cringe. All the victims can't even scream with any level of believability. The parents for some reason both mumble their way through their lines (as if they received the script two minutes beforehand). And Simon Callow? Please fire your agent, immediately. You used to make good films.
Luckily there are lots of other good horror films on the horizon, made by people who know what they are doing. Another positive is met some nice other horror fans (who also hated this film btw).
But I am out with these. Officially.

Compared to the first movie, this movie is a dramatic improvement. The first movie had an identity crisis; it didn't know what it wanted to be. It was split between telling a story recognizable (albeit turned dark) to the source material and being a generic slasher. As a result, we ended up with the first ten minutes of the movie being surprisingly interesting, creepy, and engaging while the rest of the film felt simple, unthoughtful, and frankly not scary at all.
This movie throws all that aside. Instead of trying to tell a clear "Winnie-the-Pooh" story and getting lost when that theme inherently doesn't work for an extended storyline, it takes the characters (and to some extent the settings) of Winnie-the-Pooh and simply tries to make a slasher. You don't need to have any personal connection to Winnie-the-Pooh for this film to be decent. It has about as much plot as a slasher needs (which while minimal is significantly more than the first), the killings are adequately brutal, and you actually care (at least a little) about the characters. While I was still left with some disappointment over how certain plot points were explained, it was altogether not bad.
While I think this was actually a solid slasher film, there is only so high of a score a slasher film will get. It was enjoyable, but certainly not the epitome of horror, but is worth a watch if you are into the genre. Excited for part 3.

Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey II is a huge improvement in every single way. Obviously, this one has a bigger budget (around 330k in comparison to the meagre 50k for the original) but it really does show. For starters, the creatures no longer look like they are just Halloween masks, they actually do resemble actual hybrid creatures with proper movements thanks to the excellent prosthetics. The acting has massively improved too, with Scott Chambers the new Christopher Robin (he is a standout I must say), Tallulah Evans is great too, and also a turn from established British actor, Simon Callow. There's also a decent story here now as well. The team behind the original have joined up with Matt Leslie, who wrote the brilliant Summer Of '84 and created a very interesting premise for the Pooh universe to expand and bring in further characters for the upcoming Poohniverse which has recently been teased!
There's a hell of a lot crammed in to the 85 minute run time. An interesting story, but there's a lot of fun too! Great set pieces, include a rave scene in which Pooh and friends slice and dice their way through a host of party goers. There's a lot of gore here too, mostly practical, but a bit of CGI too (probably down to the still relatively low budget).
All in all, I had a great time with this. The team need praise for actually showing resilience to come back from the pounding they took from the first one to actually learn from the criticism and come back to make something that is as good as this.
Horror fans should enjoy this, and I'd advise trying to see it in a cinema with like-minded fans for the best experience!

This film reminds me the terrifier movies the sense forget the plot and just murder people in any way you can think of.
This film was gory AF and the more the film went on it keep giving us bloody kills to the point where I didn't care about the plot anymore
I lost count how many people were killed in this movie if you love gore pretty sure you will enjoy it.
I don't remember much from the first movie going straight into this gives a bit of a back story.
This movie is definitely not for kids kinda which this movie will get it's hate from and it is odd to take a children character and turn him evil.

Now the first one was bad, but this one is boring and dull.
The story is just as stupid as the first film, and the scenes with Winnie, the owl and piglet and the occasional trigger are just laughable I wasn't expecting great films from this sequal but I don't see how they can make a multi verse of films using these characters The special effects are cheap and look worse than the first film.
The way how they have continued this from the first blood and honey is border line ridiculous, save your pennies and don't bother buying or renting this, you'll only be wasting 90 minutes of your life..not worth it.

The second horror Winnie the Pooh looks better, but the rest still needs work.
Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 is the sequel to the first Winnie the Pooh horror release. This sequel is directed, partly written and produced by Rhys Frake-Waterfield, the director of last year's first horror version of Winnie the Pooh.
After Christopher Robin (Scott Chambers) tries to prove that they really exist after his previous adventures with his old fantasy friends, their peace is disturbed by others.
As a result, Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Owl and even Tigger have come more out of the shadows. They are looking for Christopher Robin out of revenge, but have no mercy for other people they encounter.
When the rights to Winnie the Pooh became public, people quickly made a horror movie version of it and released it last year. Because it was made on a low film budget, it quickly became a financial success, allowing for good money. They've improved the way things look, like the costumes and the blood effects. The costumes of the actors playing Winnie the Pooh and the other fanatical friends look a bit more creative and realistic.
Despite these advantages, the rest of the quality is unfortunately somewhat disappointing. Fortunately, the images are no longer so moving. Most of the murders in the film are shown too zoomed in. As a result, you often cannot see exactly what Pooh and his friends do to their victims. Towards the end they show this a little more clearly, but then you often see that everything is fake and that they stab dolls with their fake weapons, or attack further. You can also see where they used CGI, especially if you look closely when Tigger's tail can be seen in the film. This inferior quality almost unintentionally makes the film more comical than scary or exciting.
In addition to the murders, the story surrounding Christopher Robin is also a bit long-winded and uninteresting. Ultimately, if the movie had been more about Pooh and his killer friends, it could have been a little more entertaining. The backstory of Christopher Robin and his fantasy friends didn't have to be told this way. They could have kept it closer to the story of the first film.
They also try to fill the film with silly and even meta-humor, but unfortunately this doesn't really work as a comedy and it remains rather on the boring side.
After this film, the film crew will continue with other horror versions of well-known fantasy stories, in order to create their own film universe.

I rather watch troll 2 than this pile of d*gs**t. The story idea was thin and it seems more like an olympic of gore. I hope this madness stop and the creators see this..Apperently the budget is bigger than troll 2 yet the whole thing is worse. Troll 2 had more story to its name.
If it was obvious a movie made for memes it would had been alright sadly I dont think thats the case.
Things that could had helped more character building more story.
And of course Tallulah Evans in a naughty scene. Since she is damn hot instead of those strippers.
Potential 10/10. Execution 1/10 story 1/10 character building 1/10
Overall dont watch it waste of time.

This is actually hard movie to review. On one hand this is trashy b-movie slasher thing, on the other it is pretty well made and despite the budget this looks very good. The acting is solid, and the story sort of fun, but there is so much dumbness and weirdness here it is hard to take it for serious.
The problem here is that the gore is not very scary, more cringe. And the sort of making fun on the children book only work if you have a great director and great writers that can pull it off, but this movie does not.
At the end of the day one has to compare this to other contemporary movies, and this simply do not measure up. Not even if we are generous and give this a pass due to budget or the genre - not even then does this really reach any passable grades.
With that said, I was mildly entertained and the ending scene means we are getting a 3rd instalment I assume, so why not. I mean this is better than most things Disney does nowadays so you could do worse.

First of all, all the 1 out 10 scores and people saying its worse than the 1st are REVIEW BOMBERS!
Right through, im glad movies like this exist. Not cause its a masterpiece (not even close) but its refreshing to see regular peoples ideas with IPs do a 180, this is is a movie that should have never existed, yet it does!
How does this movie feel?
Imagine driving home at 10pm, its rainy and you see a Video Store, you enter and in the back of this dim litted area you see a DVD with no artwork, just a paper with sharpie written "Winne The Pooh: Blood & Honey 2" you rent it cause of curiosity, you watch it in your apartment that night and think "what did I just watch?, is this real?" You talk about it the next day and no one knows what the heck you are talking about. The next day that video store is gone.
Its just...an odd experience that makes you feel you are watching something no one else knows about.
Its watchable for that! Not awful, but maybe if they dedicated at least one more year on the script this could have been really good.
Its more good than it is bad but still not where I know they want to bring thos, I see the vision getting closer, keep going guys. Bring back Eeyore for the 3rd!
Right through, im glad movies like this exist. Not cause its a masterpiece (not even close) but its refreshing to see regular peoples ideas with IPs do a 180, this is is a movie that should have never existed, yet it does!

This pointless sequel is worse than the first Blood and Honey and that is saying something.
The actor playing Christopher Robin is appalling - he seems to be smirking as he is delivering his lines for the first 20 minutes at least once the "action" starts he can just run around and not ham it up.
Not scary or suspenseful, just nasty scenes of a tall man with a bad mask chopping people up in various uninspired ways.
You couldn't even really call it horror. This film is so bad it is actually boring.
Awful script, awful acting, awful direction.
How on earth they got Simon Callow to appear is beyond me, maybe he got half the budget.
Avoid.

Winnie-The-Pooh BLOOD and Honey 2 After walking out of the movie theater, this is without a doubt one of the BLOODIEST, THE BEST, BEAUTIFUL AND BRUTAL LOW BUDGET HORROR Films of this year and does an excellent job. This independent international film from the first film yes I did think two characters from the first film did made it perfect as possible which they did. This film on Winnie-The-Pooh BLOOD and Honey 2 had better cast, better practical effects, Christopher Robin's Flashback, the young Winnie-The-Pooh looks very well done. The dialogue from Tigger sounds similarly to Freddy Krueger and I find that heartwarming, The other dialogues from Owl, Piglet and POOH themselves are definitely the scariest voices that ruins my sisters nightmare forever. The story, writing and script was definitely better as well as cinematography I'd love this film to death and I am excited where this film is going to be in the future, we will see. This 10 Jars of BLOOD & HONEY out of 10 is that perfection. I will see this film again when it comes out on VOD. Winnie-The-Pooh BLOOD and HONEY 2 is definitely one of the best films of this year, Forget SCREAM 6 last year, Winnie-The-Pooh does it incredible and beautiful.

The events of the first movie became known as the 100 Acres Massacre. Most do not believe Christopher Robin's account. A few do. They try to hunt down Pooh and friends, but the monsters are after more blood. Meanwhile, Christopher Robin starts to remember his forgotten childhood which hides the true origins of the monsters in the woods.
There are changes from the first movie. They obviously got more money and the film looks better. The bloody gore looks better but not always. The monsters got upgrades although there are still issues. The story has changed or maybe the first movie is only a rough telling. The better idea is to ignore all the nitpicks. This may be better than the first movie, but it is still not good.

I'm wondering why the abysmal first film got a sequel, but I know why: because of idiots like me who will watch them. I didn't think it was possible to make a movie that was worse than the first one, but somehow they did it.
Let's start with what was improved: the costume design is way better. There's also less sexism and unnecessary nudity (although ofc there is still some nudity, because it's a low budget horror film with a creepy male director).
Now the bad: the plot is incoherent. At least in the first movie, you could kind of follow what was going on and understand the characters. This one was all over the place. The backstories did not match with the first movie, and they did a bad job of developing the characters. Honestly; it was just boring. The scares weren't good enough to justify the boringness.

I never saw the original movie and, honestly, I don't plan to. All the reviews I've read say it's one of the worst horror films ever, so bad that it can't even be entertainingly stupid. However, after reading more positive reviews about this sequel, I decided to give it a chance.
The truth is, "Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2" is not a good film. It's a mediocre production but manages to spark some interest due to its larger budget. This allowed for improvements in the script and the characterization of the villains, who no longer look like actors in cheap masks. There is an effort to elevate the visual and narrative quality, but unfortunately, this isn't enough to save the film from its flaws.
The main problem is that, despite trying to embrace humor and a campy atmosphere, "Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2" doesn't fully commit and could have been much more fun. I felt that sometimes the film took itself too seriously when it had every opportunity to be naturally ridiculous. This unnecessary seriousness limited its potential to become a hilarious and memorable experience. It's almost as if the filmmakers were afraid to fully embrace the absurd premise and missed the chance to create something funny and unique.
As for the plot, although it's supposed to be more developed, this didn't really happen. The plot twist, which should have been surprising, is quite predictable. As soon as certain themes were touched upon, I could guess the twist. The story tries to be more complex, but it lacks depth and creativity to truly captivate the audience.
For fans of the slasher horror subgenre, "Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2" offers several violent deaths. The makeup is well done, and the third act presents a real bloodbath, which is a positive point for a slasher. However, the development of secondary characters is terrible-they exist only to be killed and fail to create any connection with the viewer. The lack of empathy or interest in the characters makes their deaths lose the emotional impact they should have.
While this series has some potential, it needs to find the right minds to work on it properly. The idea of turning iconic children's characters into horror figures is interesting and undeniably appealing, but the execution continues to fall short. If the filmmakers could find a better balance between humor, horror, and self-awareness, they could turn this series into a truly unique and memorable experience. Until then, "Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2" remains a mediocre curiosity, interesting only for its concept and some technical improvements, but insufficient to leave a lasting mark. I recommend it for a fun night with a good group of friends.

Yeah this was much MUCH better than the first installment, I guess because they didn't rush it as much? They even took the time to explain why everyone from the first movie looks so different in this one, and it's not that bad an explanation, as these things go.
The story is still badly undercooked, but at least there's a bit more of an actual story here, rather than just another series of unconnected, gruesome murders. They actually take a bit of time out to try to genuinely flesh out at least the characters of Christopher Robin and the antagonists. They still try to distract from the half-cooked plot with a sequence of lewdness in a warehouse, but they don't REALLY linger too long. At least, not quite long enough to make it obvious that they're trying to placate a particular demographic...
I kinda hope they do a third one soon, and that they follow the trajectory of actually putting in more effort with each successive entry.
