I'm never really one for internet web series, but I gave this a go when the word of mouth I was hearing was very positive. For something that's low/zero budget, it's never going to be perfect but the series is strongly directed, nicely shot and mostly strong. There's a nice sense of commitment to the humanity of mobsters too, which I think is a nice new angle the director clearly has enjoyed exploring. Having now watched all the episodes, my favourite is still episode 4 with the claustrophobia of a single shot capturing the perfectly acted horror of a girl on the verge of death. The merit of this series is how it transfers mundane normality into an apocalyptic dystopia - and if you're going to just watch one episode, go with 4 and you'll be hooked!
