This doesnt have any crazy plot twists. It is hilarious and will give you butterflies like the early kdrama era "you are beautiful", " personal taste" kind of vibe. It totally made my day. Lately i missed these kind of dramas because this is exactly why i started to watch kdrama. They make you laugh soo hard when you are having a hard time. If you are a fan of early era, you should definitely watch this. Totally loved the main cast. And most of all lee dong wook is there :) . Wink wink.
Confessing that I have totally underestimated Lee Dong-wook's skills, and assumed he was just a very nice-looking but merely adequate actor. Not so, he really does a great job in this role as a young baseball star at the peak of his fame and his game, while being pursued by a murderous stalker.
The female lead, Lee Si-young, is lovely as a fresh-faced tomboy, working as a skilled bodyguard. If she was not using a double for some of the scenes requiring what looked liked some advanced judo techniques (and if it was a double, it was VERY artfully done), she deserves special credit, as does Lee Dong-wook, for that matter.
The script starts off in a rather mediocre way but by the 4th episode, when the supporting characters' stories also began to be fleshed out, I was hooked. Her best friend, as a bookworm, scholar and author, is written and played totally outside the usual genre. The baseball team director is fascinating but also unflappable as he deals with his star and the threats against him. Love the totally deadpan delivery of his lines.
Happy to have discovered and been surprised by how good this series is.

There is a lot more to this series than the title would suggest. Unlike some shows that start strong and fizzle, this series gets better and better as it goes along leading to quite an exciting climax for a rom com. There is a strong element of mystery which keeps the story exciting - who is the villain? It's about a baseball player Lee Dong Wook is great in this role. His female body guard is played by Lee Si Young in a tom boy disguise. Still you can see she is very pretty and she plays the role with lots of charm. The supporting characters have well developed characters with their own problems and funny quirks that get laughs. Great supporting cast including his best friend and wife also her best friend and the secretary. Also unpredictable are the possible villains. People aren't who you think they are and the writer gives a psychological explanation to the characters which is not often found in series. The thrill also has a psychological element which keeps things interesting. The love triangle is uniquely interesting - not a cliched one. It's believable and moving at the same time and unique. The jokes are spontaneous and unexpected often laugh out loud.
