Ratri Ke Yatri2

Thought it was funny, joyful and had a great story. I couldn't stop laughing. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews, this TV SERIES brought me back to feeling like a kid again and just made me so happy. If you were a true lover of the old one you'll enjoy this one. There is a music scene in here that I thought was excellent and I loved that they kept the original spells from the first TV series. Betty Midler looks the exact same in all the makeup and hairAbsolutely love this film! I have waited for this for so long! I am one of those people that know the first TV series inside out and am so obsessed I pretty much know it word for word! Highly recommend to everyone must watch this TV SERIES.

If anything, I'll take that as a compliment, as the TV SERIES is about self-actualization, or the simple fact that it's a wake up call in this rat race of a world that we live in, that we lose sight of things that matter in the pursuit of success. It's a wake up call that we should be pursuing Excellence instead, which in the work environment one gets easily drowned in mediocrity, or blind faith that success follows without putting in too much hard work. Set predominantly in the varsity days and told in chunks of flashback, this TV SERIES will allow you to reminisce about a time where life was nothing but exams, lectures, and that paper chase, either making the grade or having to repeat. But there's also probably that one person, or a few if you're lucky, whom you'll meet on campus that will help you directly or indirectly, shape your outlook, thinking and just about forming long lasting bonds, whose interaction with will shape your character just before entering the workforce.

So I went into this with low expectations as I knew it would never live up to the original, despite the main three actors coming back. And I was right. The sisters are still good and it was fun to see more of their backstory and childhood, and the special effects were great. But, after that we get the new characters and the new story...The story is hardly there, and none of the new characters left an impact or where really likeable (there's pretty much no backstory or character development) so it's pretty hollow, and there's less comedy in this than the first one. Fun to see the sisters again, but definitely won't be a reoccuring Halloween rewatch like the original. I did really like the ending tho, it was nice. Biggest disappointment is that they couldn't live up to the first's musical numbers. The group song is good, but Sarah doesn't even sing her Come little children song, and that was very sad cause it's my favorite part of the first one.

Nothing will eve compare to the original, but this scores high for a sequel and left me wanting another. It definitely has several nods to the original with a twist of modernization. The only way to make this better was to have the original cast have some part to this. However, it delivered what is was supposed to and more!

Reminder, the original didn't do well when it came out but became a classic, I have no doubt there is momentum coming into this and will be for years to come. Would love for this to be a franchise. Keep it going, Sistahs! We need a wholesome Halloween franchise with a remarkable cast such as this. Much of it is a comedy, but it also has many poignant moments (keep the Kleenex nearby), some existential moments where they explore the meaning of life and work and it's also a tender TV SERIES about friendship.

What an awesome web series made by Hungama Play. Appreciation for the whole team to think out-of-the-box and make such sort of thought-provoking stories of red-light areas. Must watch. Never really followed @TheRashamiDesai's career so #RatriKeYatri2 is her first acting project I am witnessing in all her glory and dude, chills, 'hum wehshiyan hai' and 'iss dhande ke peeche ek aurat chhupi hui hai, jo aapke dard aur aapke aansuon ko samajhti hai' goosebumps 🔥 Need more participation in this trend. It's for a project which will surely be a super hit . Show some more josh Rashamians !!
