The 2025 MTV VMAs are coming this weekend!

The Video Music Awards will be airing live on Sunday (September 7) on CBS.

The show organizers just announced a series of superstar names joining the presenters lineup, plus hosts and performers for the pre-show and extended play stage.

The event will be hosted by LL Cool J at Ubs Arena in New York, and will begin at 8 p.m. Et on CBS, simulcast on MTV and streaming on Paramount+ in the United States.

Pre-Show Host & Performers

The VMAs pre-show will be hosted by Nessa and Kevan Kenney.

The pre-show starts at 7 p.m.

The 2025 MTV VMAs have unveiled the first group of presenters for the awards ceremony set to take place this coming Sunday.

This year’s presenters include Jessica Simpson and sister Ashlee Simpson Ross, Hunting Wives stars Brittany Snow and Malin Akerman, KPop Demon Hunters‘ Huntrix (Audrey Nuna, Ejae and Rei Ami), Paris Hilton, Megan Stalter, Nikki Glaser, Drew Barrymore, Ice Spice, Ciara, Latto and Livvy Dunne.

The VMAs will also air a one-hour preshow ahead of the main ceremony on MTV as well as on BET, BET Her, Comedy Central, CMT, Logo, MTV 2, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, Pop, TV Land and VH1.

The preshow will be hosted by Nessa and Kevan Kenney, with Katseye performing “Gnarly” and “Gabriela” from their new Beautiful Chaos EP. The K-pop girl group is a first-time VMA nominee, up for best group and MTV Push performance of the year.

Huntr/x is coming to the VMAs this year. Ejae, Rei Ami and Audrey Nuna, who provide the singing voices of Rumi, Mira and Zoey, respectively, will present during this year’s ceremony.
