    This was fun to watch

Well, let me start off by saying it, that this film is completely enjoyable, rather entertaining, and was unexpected. To be honest, like most scary movies. There seems to be some sort of relic or item that is touched by a person or placed on in this case, and the story really unfolds from there. You'll have to keep your attention because the storyline does go back-and-forth at some point, but overall definitely give this film to thumbs up because of the fact that it was rather enjoyable. It's definitely one of those films where you're just kind of hanging out at the house with your partner enjoying the night. It's almost a mood setting movie!

A fun enough effort that doesn't have too much really wrong with it

After spending time housesitting for her neighbors, a woman's realization that she's pregnant is turned upside down when she starts experiencing a strange phenomenon after putting on a cursed ring the family takes drastic action to help save her and her baby from a supernatural force.

This was a pretty enjoyable and generally likable effort. One of the better factors here is the general build-up and atmosphere established here to bring about the impending sense of her condition. After initially showing the family relationship on the other side of the property which is fine enough with their squabbling siblings and carefree parenting making them seem relaxed but loving, the contrasting nature of what's going on compared to her being alone at the same time is quite nice. While some of the material might be a bit overplayed, the setup provides enough for us to get a handle on the family so that when she starts to go through her own difficulties involving the rapidly deteriorating physical changes that start taking place. These physical changes are another rather enjoyable factor here since they start to signal that something far more sinister is happening. The series of dreams and hallucinations offers quite a strong start to this with the idea of her confronting a troublesome ex and witnessing a series of bizarre scenes with the family eating themselves to no reaction. That leads into a series of impressive sequences that feature her body slowly transforming and turning into a demonic figure with spreading sores, an eerie discoloration that creates a highly eerie and chilling look to her, and a general flakiness to her skin that's overall quite shocking to see play out. That sets the big finale in motion that works in some exorcism notions, a big battle with a cheesy demonic creature, and a nice heartwarming finale that concludes everything rather nicely for quite a lot to like about this one. There are a few issues here that do bring this one down. The main issue here is the rather bizarre means of switching back and forth in the storyline between following her plight as the condition worsens and the interactions with the family next door. Some of this stuff feels quite draining on the suspense of her condition as we deal with the family lovingly taunting each other rather than focus on the pregnant girl as it's all rather tiresome to keep getting these types of scenes as well as continuing to provide a rather overly familiar setup about their troublesome family dynamics. The other issue is a rather unnecessary and generally worthless stinger for a finale that makes no sense logically after what's gone on before so it's pretty pointless overall, but still worth bringing up to help hold this down.

Rated Unrated/R: Graphic Language and Graphic Violence.

Exceedingly stupid waste of time and film.

Somewhere inside this turd of a movie there was a decent idea for a supernatural horror film. There were so many times I found I was asking myself "why," followed by "what," followed by "huh?" Again, the premise was decent, but it was entirely crippled by the writing, and the dialog, and the logic (or lack thereof). The characters' behavior made absolutely no sense, especially the father of the family that leaves for "vacation" in the first act of the film, which sets up the whole hackneyed premise of this monstrosity. Heck, even the fact the writer left this poor excuse for a movie open for a sequel that will never come, is proof enough of how out-of-touch he was with the truth of what had been spawned.

I think I feel most sorry for the actors. I certainly hope they were well-paid for their time, because this one should be left off any CV.

    Don't bother watching it.

Exorcism in Utero - A Movie Experience That Left Me Wanting More!

Just had the pleasure of watching Exorcism in Utero, and I can't contain my excitement! This film is an absolute gem, filled with hilarious dialogue, memorable characters, and some unexpected twists. I had an absolute blast watching it, and I couldn't help but fall in love with certain aspects of the movie that stood out to me.

First and foremost, the dynamic between Steve Larkin (Frank O'Neill) and Father Ron Bresson during the exorcism scenes had me in stitches! Their chemistry on screen was simply hilarious, and I couldn't get enough of their comedic timing. It added a whole new layer of entertainment to an already captivating storyline.

The O'Neill family, portrayed by Allegra Sweeney as Ally O'Neill, Leonard Hoge as Peter O'Neill (my amazing son!), and the incredible Stephanie Leet as Debra O'Neill, truly stole the show. Their interactions and playful banter felt so authentic, and it was heartwarming to see the love that binds them together. Despite their teasing and playful teasing, it's evident that there's a deep bond and affection within the family. The funny and heartwarming dialogue really made the film shine.

I must take a moment to commend Stephanie Leet's portrayal of Debra O'Neill, Peter's mom. Her acting was simply outstanding, and she brought so much depth and emotion to her character. Alongside Frank O'Neill, played brilliantly by Steve Larkin, their performances were nothing short of stellar. The entire cast delivered exceptional performances that truly brought the characters to life.

One of the aspects I absolutely loved about the movie was how Peter, portrayed by my son Leonard, became a guiding presence for Herma, played by the talented Sam Bangs. Leonard's portrayal of Peter showcased his ability to bring comfort and support to Herma in the most extraordinary circumstances. It was heartwarming to see their connection and witness the strength of their bond throughout the film. Leonard's performance was exceptional, and I couldn't be prouder.

And let's talk about that ending! Exorcism in Utero delivered an incredible twist that left me craving more. I found myself yearning for a sequel, especially after the mind-blowing reveal at the end. The movie kept me on the edge of my seat, and I would love nothing more than to see Frank O'Neill, Father Ron Bresson, and Peter O'Neill team up for another exorcism and embark on new onscreen shenanigans.

All in all, Exorcism in Utero exceeded my expectations and left me thoroughly entertained. The humorous dialogue, outstanding performances, and unexpected plot twists made it an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this film to all horror movie enthusiasts and anyone looking for a good laugh and a thrilling ride. Don't miss out on this gem!
