I was a big fan of the first outing. I became very reluctant when I heard the sequel had been planned, but I have to say it was absolutely hilarious. It was full of funny moments with the whole cast chipping in. It was really all about the cast not just Adam Sandler. From start to finish funny moment after funny moment with the kids coming into their own especially the baby Chris Rock. This movie is set a few years after the first and all the characters have excuse the pun 'Grown Up'. Some great additions to this cast were Steve Austin and Shaq O' Neill. A really enjoyable movie going experience. I think there will be a fair few that didn't like the movie because it was stupid in parts but guess what people it is a comedy there suppose to be silly and stupid. 7/10
Well,to start with, This is not a drama which is something most reviewers need to have in mind before they start killing this movie.
There's a better delivery of jokes and the characters are at some point likable. Unlike the first one, this one offers more different situations and jokes. Overall, it's very non clever funny cinema. The same characters from the original but embarked into a new adventure.
What else would you expect from a comedy flick? For those who didn't like this after having watched the first one, don't play fools forgetting jokes and surprising funny moments are what comedies are all about. Don't miss the point!!!

I saw the first movie and although it was awhile ago, I remember it being a cute, funny, somewhat family movie. So I was excited to see the sequel. I will be the first to admit that I love all the actors and that there were some funny moments (more than a handful) that made me laugh out loud. However overall, it was pretty bad. There was no plot, and the comedy went way overboard with childish attempts at humor. This movie had so much potential and could have gone in a totally different direction.
It was filled with raunchy and inappropriate and unnecessary sexism, sex jokes, and sexual innuendos. Now I am a grown up myself and I can handle all of that, but it was not funny and most of the audience was young teenagers (12-17) and trust me when I say they got their weekly dose of sexualized media in a matter on an hour and a half.

This film tells the story of a group of childhood friends who throws a huge eighties party to recapture the spirit of their youth.
"Grown Ups 2" is full of gross toilet humor and juvenile jokes, but I guess I was in the mood for silliness so I enjoyed watching it. The story is very fragmented, as the film is composed of a series of little connected, one minute to a few minutes long jokes. As a result, there is virtually no plot, but a series of funny scenes thrown together to call a film. However, this idea works and people find the film funny, so why not give prior the escapism entertainment? "Grown Ups 2" is not as annoying as the first film, but equally forgettable and hollow.

Went to see this and wish I could have worked all day instead!!! This was an absolute waste of time and money. Waste of my money for paying to see this crap and super waste of money spent on making this garbage. It has some funny moments, most of which are shown in the previews, but there is no real flow or storyline. It has some solid actors in it too, which is a shame, because it seems to me that if they cared about their careers at all, they should have been able to read the script and see that it would not work. I assure you, if you are over 12...no, over 7 years old, you will leave disappointed... Please don't waste your money too!!!!!!!!!!!!!
¿Sabías que…?
- TriviaContrary to popular belief, the reason Rob Schneider did not reprise his role was not because he had a falling out with Adam Sandler. He turned down the movie due to scheduling conflicts, and his wife was having a baby during production.
- ErroresThe area code on the cable van that Chris Rock's character plays says 206...this is a Seattle area code even though they are on the east coast.
