Beyond the Trail is simply an amazing time with a couple buddies exploring forests across the United States in search of possible signs or evidence of a Sasquatch type of creature inhabiting these areas. Alex and Eli are great filmmakers who treat the beautiful places they visit with reverence, and after a couple of episodes they start to seem like a few of your personal bros. Eli is really funny without trying to be and Alex is an amazing narrator who really brings you into the forest with them. I pray that they both continue to make films for a very long time, I honestly wouldn't care what the topic is about with either of those two at the helm.
Despite their effort and talent, many episodes of Beyond the Trail may not meet up to the expectations of someone who is only focused on finding undeniable proof of Bigfoot's existence. Spoiler alert for the uninitiated but it simply doesn't exist. Watching an educational exploration series such as this will not make a believer out of a skeptic, nor do I think that was ever the intention behind Beyond the Trail. If you're only focused on seeing video footage of a being resembling a Sasquatch supposedly walking through the woods, this might not be what you're looking for.
Oddly enough, some of the best parts of this series are when we get to witness the dudes battling with the frustration they obviously go through on many occasions when they repeatedly come up empty handed. It's all about knowing your end goal and taking your viewers along for the ride no matter how many bumps, twists and turns one might have to take before the trail runs out.
Props to Seth Breedlove for not only building such an awesome production company, but for seemingly having a knack for finding individuals the public will enjoy watching again and again.
Finally, I just wanna give a Sasquatch sized WOOP and say thank you so much to Alex and Eli.
They are two seriously amazing individuals who without knowing it have honestly helped me get through one of the hardest times in my life. I truly hope that one day, some lonely Sasquatch somewhere in the world will have the privilege of experiencing a life changing encounter with the Beyond the Trail boys. I'm sure he would leave feeling just as lucky as I was to have stumbled upon your work.
Cheers!
