Kim Doo-Hyun and Kim Seung-Hyun are two brothers that find themselves together again at the new hospital, Seohan National Medical Center.

Tensions run high between the Eastern and Western doctors, even as the investors come for an inspection.

The hospital has six months to prove that the eastern and western doctors can work together or they will be shut down. The directors decide to start a collaborative team with certain members from both sides.

Flashback to Seung-Hyun's years after Jeong Eui-Jin's death. How he got into eastern medicine and how he met Lee Eui-Jin. Meanwhile, in present time, Hye-In is getting more and more abuse from Doo-Hyun.

Hye-In's father arrives at the hospital with a cerebral hemorrhage. Now, Hye-In is having trouble separating her feelings as a daughter and a doctor. Meanwhile, Eui-Jin's hand is starting to give her trouble.

The staff attends a seminar. Doo-Hyun is starting to believe that their is love between Hye-In and Seung-Hyun. Dong-Sun discovers that his son has leukemia. Also, Eui-Jin lies about her hand so she can perform.

Eui-Jin has a brain tumor. But she is asked to keep it a secret from Seung-Hyun.

Eui-Jin has gone back to her father. Seung-Hyun tries to figure out what is wrong with her. Meanwhile, Hye-In begins to think about Seung-Hyun in a new way.

Seung-Hyun asks for Doo-Hyun and Ha-Yoon's help in treating Eui-Jin's tumor. Hye-In is jealous by Seung-Hyun's feelings for Eui-Jin.

While Eui-Jin recovers from the operation, she befriends Dong-Sun's son, Min-Joon.

After hearing about her relapse, Eui-Jin has lost faith in Seung-Hyun. But Seung-Hyun refuses to give up and tries to locate a rare herb that may be able to help. Hye-In assists him.

Secrets start coming out all over the hospital. Hye-In has discovered that Doo-Hyun is in love with her; Eui-Jin's father finds out about her cancer; and the staff have finally discovered that Seung-Hyun is Ha-Yoon's son.

The making of the anticancer medicine is proceeding, but it is still not ready to be tested on humans, and Eui-Jin's time is running out. Meanwhile, the staff believes that Doo-Hyun and Hye-In slept together.

Eui-Jin's time is running out and the AC-7 drug still hasn't been approved. Seung-Hyun and Hye-In decide it's time to take drastic measures. Meanwhile, Eui-Jin tries to prepare for her death.

Because Hye-In, knowingly, used a non-confirmed drug on Eui-Jin, she is in danger of losing her license. But Doo-Hyun takes the blame instead. Meanwhile, Ha-Yoon decides to visit his ex-wife's resting place.

Doo-Hyun's license has been suspended for two years. He decides to go to America and study. Eui-Jin is finally recovering. Meanwhile, the investors' inspection is coming up.
