Thus is a C- at best movie. Rented it based on a 7.9 review. It plays more like an amateur film. Shark scenes are obviously computer generated. There is no real plot and what us there is beyond predictable. Whoever gave this a 7.9 must have done it as a joke. The scenes jump without connection. It's so bad it's almost comedic. The characters never seem to learn from one mistake to the next. Really, don't waste your money or time on this movie. People go out in a small rubber dingy to rescue the guys daughter when they know there are multiple sharks attacking. They call coast guard as an emergency and are put on hold. A helicopter with their coordinates can't find them. They are resting in a sand bar and still get attacked. A girl gets bit abd they wrap it but later when they stand her up the wrap isn't there. They also tell her to keep weight off her leg and she does it on the wrong leg!
First off why would the show control center sending a message on all open channels when they don't hear anything. Two, how does the radio not work. The shark hit the propeller. Didn't know the whole electronic system was in the propeller. The acting was like wtf. The boyfriend to one of the characters was annoying was F and I couldn't wait for him to die. They finally realized they had a radio almost close to the end of the movie. A person got bit by a shark and she's acting like her whole entire leg was torn off by in reality it's a light bit at best, and just so much more stupid stuff. Like I stupid movies but this was beyond that smh.
I have to admit that I am sucker for shark movies, despite the fact that 95% of all shark movies are questionable and dubious movies at best. But I still opt to give a shark movie the benefit of the doubt. And such it was with the 2022 movie "Shark Waters".
And I had never heard about writer M. L. Miller's "Shark Waters" movie before getting the chance to watch it. And seeing that dreaded logo pop up on the screen, you know which one I am talking about, The Asylum, I have to admit that my expectations went down a couple of notches for the movie. Yet, I still opted to watch it.
Director Jadon Cal didn't exactly deliver an innovating shark movie. If anything, then "Shark Waters" was a pretty generic movie at best, even for a shark movie. But hey, at least it had sharks. Well, a combination of dubious CGI sharks and some stock footage of sharks. Again, something that is a common occurrence in shark movies, isn't it?
The dialogue in "Shark Waters" was rather shoddy, and there were some genuinely toe-curling moments throughout the 85 minutes that the movie ran for.
The acting performances in "Shark Waters" were fair enough. Some questionable performances, but also some adequate performances. But truth be told, a movie such as this would be astounding if it had stellar performances.
I mentioned the poorly animated CGI sharks, and mix that with some equally poorly animated blood effects in the water, and you know what you're in for when you sit down to watch "Shark Waters".
My rating of "Shark Waters" lands on a three out of ten stars.

A movie as all movies about sharks. Predictable, but not that bad. They are all the same to me. The actors act well, but the idea of little rescuing boat was too ridiculous. The helicopter couldn't find them despite the coordinate. Falling from the boat was also ridiculous. They remembered to use the phone and call her dad after two hours, and after that the tourist was killed by the sharks. I don't understand why the producers continue making new movies about the sharks when everything possibile has bene already done. They are all the same. In all these movies sharks act likes humans, want to revange, follow a certain boat/ship and attack It. They are not humans, they eat if are hungry, they don't revenge and don't attack just like that.
Watch it if you don't have anything else to watch. It is lame, entertaining with less kill than would have liked, there needed at least forty two girls in the movie and thirty one men and seventy nine elderly in a big yacht. Only then, it would have been more entertaining and more believable.
The visual effects are horrendous, the sharks aren't.
