Janine, a smart and passionate woman, grew up with her emotionally distant father. All her life, there was only one thing she dreamed of--to have a perfect family. She finds the chance to make this dream come true when "Mr. Perfect," Matthew, proposes to her. However, Janine finds out that she is the product of an affair that her father had with a married woman named Consuelo. Janine then blames Consuelo's actions for her miserable childhood.
