Turks made all the historical series but in the style of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk(hain) 😄
like equal rights of women.
Womens ar fighting, women leading, these are all in the style of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.(hain) 😄 But honestly before 1850 women of any religion did not even dare to step out of the house. So did they really fight in 1170 Actually they want to retain the female audience by showing the power of women.
It is boring to show unnecessary scenes in the series, Kurulus Usman, Abdul Hamid, Alp Arsalan, how many series are made by Turks in one style 🤣 Turkish series should be changed, because their productions are not only seen by them, but they have a worldwide audience, they should keep in mind this fact.

No doubt Salahudin Ayyubi is a great historical figure who lived a great life and even his enemies admired him but this show is clearly not a representation of that. It is a very small scale production with poor visual effects and a lack luster repetitive story line which has no depth. What covers most of the episodes is a hand full men chasing each other and fighting in the same locations even the sets are not that good and more importantly it is not even historically accurate. How can you justify 10 to 20 people conquering cities and a sultan who has 20 soldiers who guard the defenses of Damascus. Another thing is that most of the main characters are shown to wear no caps to cover their heads, however this was a necessity in the old times specially in the people of that region. In fact even the Sultan Nurredin has been shown not wearing his crown for more then a dozen episodes. There is no detailing and the characters have been shown wearing the same dresses for almost the whole season.
All of this show highlights the small scale and the small budget of this series. Instead watching this it is better to read a book to learn the legacy of Sultan Selahudin Ayuubi rather than watching this fictional disgrace.

It's obvious the kurds will be upset and will give a low rating because the fact is Salahuddin Ayyubi was a kurdish hailed from a kurdish family. Raised by Nur ud din Zengi RA. The music I can agree with its a let down.. alparsalan layer down the benchmark for the music, the show even though is created by The same creators. I also believe even though I have not been the region where it filmed shows far too much greenery where I believe should be more sand mountains than anything. NO SHOW will ever capture u like Ertugrul did.. but still in these time of need to muster up courage. Still a decent watch.
The series started with significant potential, but the writing has been deeply unsatisfactory. From the outset, the main character, Salauddin, appears powerless, surrounded by merely five allies perpetually engaged in recovery tasks-whether it's saving hostages, finding lost tribes, or retrieving ancient artifacts. He lacks any definitive leadership traits. Furthermore, the show misrepresents the historical narrative, offering a shallow, one-dimensional storyline. It's a complete letdown and pales in comparison to 'Kurulus Osman', which is richly layered and compelling enough that it never wears out its welcome.
The actors of the show are well chosen, sets are great, but the downside is the background music. The character of Selahaddin is supposed to be a very strong one, which the actor is ,no doubt, but the background music is so weak that it overshadows the main character .It is loud, very shrill that it hurts the ears. If you can make the music more strong, grand it will greatly help the show. Its music is similar to that of Hyrredin ( another Turkish show) which was very annoying. If someone directly linked to the show, Selahaddin, is reading this review and is able to make this change it will greatly improve its ratings.
