Unfortunately unfunny

Looked forward to watching after seeing Jinx's hilarious comedy special and can say this really missed it all on levels, jokes falling flat and not funny, trying to use outdated stereotypes as humour such as drunk Irish all while banging on about herself getting stereotyped... One thing that was okay was the opening dong "Best Sex"" but it goes down hill progressively after that. Put on if it's a rainy day and your looking for something on in the background while you clip your dog's nails. You could see she had nerves every now and then and is a good performer but stand up and public speaking is not one of them.

Awkward and not funny

It's apparent that Peppermint was trying her best to deliver a comedic performance, however it falls flat on nearly every level. She delivers self-deprecating humor in an awkward and uncomfortable manner which makes it hard to not be concerned for her wellbeing. The only way I'd suggest anyone to watch this performance would be if they were wanting to binge cringe content. Peppermint's live audience is thankfully on her side from the start. The kindness of the audience and the forced laughs they give her are the reason Peppermint is able to make it through the filming. The hype behind the RuPaul's drag race franchise is the only reason this production was made.

Jokes? Where are they? Not in this special!

It's no spoiler to say there are no jokes in this show. Peppermint spends most of the show talking about sex and adds nothing to the conversation, except one of the most banal deliveries ever. I think she's a great performer but comedy is not her strong suit. The audience barely registers during this 50 minute special because there's nothing funny going on. If you're gonna use yourself as the focal point in your special, have something unique to say. Peppermint seems unprepared and thinks flipping her hair and sticking her ass out are comedy gold. Nope. Sorry. This special makes the Darienne Lake one look like a comedy masterpiece.
