Bride Hard

This is EASILY top three worst movies of all time, at least the ones I've seen. The acting from everyone is absolutely horrendous and continues to deteriorate as the movie progresses. It baffles me how not even the monologues are delivered well. How do you mess up a monologue in an action movie? And the jokes. Ill timed, written horribly or just simply delivered horribly. The plot of the movie is also just inexplicably bad. Action sequences are not that entertaining and some of the sequences make no sense logically. I wanted to walk out of the theater so many times but I paid for a ticket so I stayed. If this movie was free on streaming right now, I wouldn't even bother watching it. So all in all, I do not recommend watching this movie, ever.

Easily the worst release of the year so far, and I think it's in a prime position to take it all this year as the worst of the worst.

For a movie that steals most of its ideas from Bridesmaids (one of the best comedies of the 00s), it's surprising how unwatchable it is.

My girlfriend and I showed up to the theaters expecting an enjoyable movie and were baffled by the script. The pacing is insane, it yo-yos between rushing through emotional beats of the film and stopping dead minutes later to make a joke that lands with a thump.

The single redeeming element of this film is Da'Vine Joy Randolph. She gets the movie and nails every single shallow joke she has to make. She's the one reason we stayed in the theater.

A wedding day nobody expected, were mercenaries takes everybody hostage, and want something in a vault, and there only hope is a bridesmaid who's a secret agent.

Some action scenes are amusing, but not great. Rebel Wilson was alright in some scenes, when I felt she wasn't winking at the audience. Anna Camp acts like she drank too much coffee, to the point where she is way too animated to care about her as a character. Anna Chlumsky (My Girl) does steal some scenes. Justin Hartley is poorly wasted here. Now Stephen Dorf has the main bad guy, is watchable because he's quite straight forward, and pulls no punches, feeling like he's in a different movie all together.

That's it. I think a.i. Wrote this. This movie can be used at negotiating tables to prove to exects why they need to pay humans to make movies.

No one in real life talks or acts like anyone in this movie. None of the jokes land. The action was pointless. And the final scene made less sense than the title.

The most unfortunate thing is that a lot of the actors are genuinely funny and talented, and they tried REALLY hard to make this even a little entertaining. I think I chuckled once at something that was not supposed to be funny.

I hope all the best for everyone involved honestly cuz this was a waste.

Rebel Wilson is in need of a box office hit after ahe shrank down. This ain't a box office hit, but quite entertaining as a funny film.

Wilaon needs to pick hwr role carefully, too many thinga were juat ruining rhe film:

• she ain't young but still acting like a fat 20a
• her California girl accent ia not funny anymore
• she needs to embrace her origin
• Bridemaids + Die Hard + any spy spoof = Bride Hard
• why are those bridemaids roles looked like Pitch Perfect crews? Coz Anna Camp was also in Pitch Perfect

So if you're looking for brainless entertainment that would give you a smile, just watch it in cable or streaming.
