I liked the depictions of the village scenery and the lively characters which paint a picturesque canvas, immersing the readers into the rustic charm of rural India. Its simple and funny in major parts. Reminds the stupidity of the simple characters back in the days of doordarshan.

However, the only minor flaw lies in the pacing, where certain parts of the story may seem slightly dragged, hindering the momentum of an otherwise engrossing watch. Nonetheless, the character development and heartwarming interactions between Patil and Damu effectively compensate for this drawback.

All in all, this is a good Sunday watch.

Watched it with family....and everyone loved it... the premise is simple yet creates enough drams to keep you engaged... Sakharam has got negative traits but you still end up rooting for him... and for his sidekick damu... both do a good job with their role.. Navin prabhakar is a surprise entry and does justice to the character of a likeable villain... Child artist is a revealation and could be one of the best child artist performances of the year... Shreyas looks in the 2nd half are good... and a welcome surprise from the emotional second half Mukta's role should have been longer//

It's a treat to watch with your family, it shows how one common man and his family faces the obstacles coming in their life. Especially their adjustment because of their financial condition. Shreyansh Talpade had done a fabulous job in this movie, and how can I forget Little girl in that movie who is playing Shreyansh Talpade's daughter. Her Screen presence was too good. Other Characters of their village also did good job in movie. So You can watch this movie with your complete family. Last but Not Least this Movies Captain of the ship Anand Karir Succeed in their moto to Deliver the Story in every common man's Heart.

'Aapdi Thapdi' stands out as an example of what a heartwarming story paired with powerful performances can achieve.

While narration is often used as a crutch in many films, Daamu (Sandeep Pathak) introducing the characters sets the tone for a movie that plays out much like the tales of Malgudi Days. Sakharam Patil (Shreyas Talpade) has a hundred life hacks when it comes to saving money, as he lies, cons and straight up bulldozes his way through life. His wife (Mukta Barve) and daughter (Khushi Hajare) bear this behavior as he still is a loving husband and father.

Patil's comeuppance is when he loses something of great value to his daughter, as he pushes his luck one too many times. Now, he has to go against his lifelong instinct to win back the love of his family.

In a deviation from the loud, in-your-face slapstick comedies, this film presents a subtle, captivating story. Talpade gives a performance that can truly be counted as one of his career bests. Mukta Barve and Khushi Hajare are praiseworthy too, while Sandeep Pathak as the eternally loyal friend and Nandu Madhav as the TC with the heart of gold win your heart. Director Anand Karir's visual treatment brings each scene to life and ties you into the world of these lovable characters.

'Aapdi Thaapdi' feels like a warm hug. It is a simple story of simple people that ends up teaching the audience several small lessons.

This movie comes on Zee Yuva once in a while. Total timepass and nice music. I saw it only for my favourite actress Mukta Barva. Was sad to see that she was not much in the movie but whatever little she has done, it is a good job. The story is simple and sweet and not very predictable about the stupid things which characters do. But much better than seeing maar dhaad cinema which is giving hedache.

Shreyas is funny and character playing Damu is good actor. Even the girl who plays the daughter is nice. Best of all, i like the small goat Pinku who makes a special appearence but is qute. The TC is the same guy who played in Harishchandrachi Factory. Good cast, good performance. Simple story.
